1. Sachin has played when there is no DRS system(so many decisions went against him.) Where as virat has advantage.
2. Batting of indian team was on shoulders of sachin at that time comparing to kohli. He can be little relaxed taking pressure out of him.
3. Sachin played on bowlers friendly pitches where as now its batters friendly. It is now entertainment not any sport. No offence pitch should support both batters and bowlers.
4. With bowler friendly wickets the bowlers at that time was extremely letal. If 80 runs where scored 15 overs it was big acheivement. Now the score 120 runs in 15 overs. Australia, south africa, pakistan srilanka, west indies and england had very great bowlers.
5. Technology has improved vastly. Batsman and bowler can know there mistake and rectify immediately. Where in those days, it was just starting of technology. Much wasnt there to them.
6. Staying fit i have to give credit to kohli for the point i would say.
Our teams are playing lots of cricket through out the year with very less rest to players. They are playing so much cricket and it is becoming so more where audience or fans may lose interest.
But in those days, very few matches was played compare to now. Even though fittness goes with kohli he has more matches than sachin.
