For anyone wondering how to fix color change, as xdsora said "when you change the video settings to cyan red and the color dissapears, go to video fx and add "saturation adjust". Bring the "Low" scale up to 1000 and your color of the video should be back to normal. Try to do this part before splitting the video so you don't have to do it for every clip."

TIP: if your screen is off centered (like showing parts of your bottom video at the top) in the custom composition menu you have to check the box where it says “Alpha channel scales RGB channels

GO to Videofx>> Saturation adjust>> drag Reset to none into the clip>> Change "Low" to 1.000
