My plan right now is to do one finance, one how stuff works, and one interesting history video in a pattern. Finance videos, while they sometimes don’t get me views, they’re where 90% of my ad revenue comes from, so I have to keep doing them to afford to keep doing this 🙂
Thank you! This answered a lot of my questions. There's still one thing I'm wondering though... If I buy a stock for let's say 10 000 dollars with a maturity of 5 years. After the first year the issuers credit rating worsens considerably and the price of the bond falls. The issuer doesn't go bankrupt but the price remains lower than when I bought it. If I understood it correctly, the price is only what the bond is traded for on the secondary market so that means I'd still get my 10 000 dollars back after 5 years right?
Good question but I'm assuming so. Otherwise that would just seem to operate almost like a stock with the exception of collecting interest along the way. Nobody answered but I would like to know.
