Demon Slayer is great: top tier animation, incredible character design, deeply emotional story and yeah, as you said, the music is amazing. the production value of the anime in general is 10/10. the series is heavily influenced by japanese folklore and puts a spin on it, so there's a lot of fun facts and context to some things happening but imo it's a good first anime to watch. great first reaction and welcome to this journey! :)
