Baby goldfish are a grayish silver color. So they could be goldfish babies. They will develop the orange color later on as they grow. You can also add some rosy red minnows to help with mosquito larvae too. But yea, goldfish do eat them as well. But you can add ramshorn snails or gold Inca snails to help with algae. I love ponds yours is so pretty with the waterfall. 😁

Bird nets are great for ponds. I've had one covering my pond for many years and it's kept wildlife away.
