I'm surprised it was that cheap in peak season. I wouldn't be there at that time but im happy to pay 45 a night whatever the time. So much cheaper than a motel and a better environment. Bugger it just enjoy. Thanks guys.
Absolute peak period Ray, we couldn't believe we managed to find an availability and weren't disappointed with what was on offer. It was one of the most relaxed campsites I think we've experienced, due to the heat we just chilled in our own private waterhole. Magic stuff! Cheers Marg
Hi, just discovered you Gibbos only this week. The floating ring, where did you buy from or is it a towing donut?? Thanks, great to have come across a couple we can relate too
@@sampanopoulos57 hi, we’ve had them for a while but I believe we bought them from BCF as twin pack. Steve has seen something similar from Bunnings. Thanks for watching & stopping by to say hi. Cheers Marg
What was the toilet situation please? I used to own a property 80acre called Magic Hill at Copeland nsw, outside of Gloucester. It was magical, with creek and waterfall boardering the national park. Please feel free to look it up. 😊😊😊 Happy travels guys.
Agree about the $ but we only booked at late notice at Xmas/NYE period and jumped at it for the private swimming hole with extreme heat predicted. It truly was such a relaxing experience, the property was beautiful and close to the little historic town of Bowraville. Firewood & delicious brownies were provided, fortunately we are set up with power/solar, an ensuite and plenty of water, so we were happy to spoil ourselves with this holiday treat.
No, didn’t know that, thankfully the farmer had a good size fire pit, so hopefully it would help avoid the cows getting to it. I wonder why they do that? When we were there it was so hot & humid, the cows just wanted to come down for a drink.
Hi David, we agree but at the busiest time of the year and at short notice, we went for it. To have our own private swimming hole during the summer heat and surrounded by stunning lush green countryside, we thought it was worth spoiling ourselves. We are so lucky to live in a beautiful country that offers us choice of where to camp & explore, between the free and the cost sites, I think it balances out. Thanks so much for tuning in. 😊

Thanks for the share, looks like a gorgeous stay.
@@Hipcamp perfect for the humidity we had at the time.

I think I’ll add this onto our list
I lived on a 100 acre property at Girralong about 20 ks further out, lovely part of nsw
@@jamesrobertson8713 How lucky were you James, the countryside is so stunning and we also loved the little town of Bowraville.
That look absolutely beautiful and peaceful been watching a few of your vids very insightful and inspiring thanks
Awww how lovely, thank you. It’s our pleasure to share some great places with likeminded road trippers who adore Australia like we do.
Great spot, will have to tag that one.
It was lovely & relaxing.😎

@@louise7552 hi Louise, you have to be self contained - check out Yarrawin Camping on Hipcamp.
@@louise7552 is the Magic Hill property on Hipcamp?
@@gibbosroadtripadventures no, I used to own it.
Awesome, have tagged Hayden who so much would like to reconnect with the boys camping and his Jimny. JBG

So exciting that Hayden has an off-road vehicle, he’ll have so much fun. Maybe you could join him on an adventure.
Looks a great spot, but I think 45 a night with no power or water or amenities is way to much

I am afraid that fee is way too rich for my taste.
