Bit off topic Jon, as I left this comment on Your LMP video from 5 days ago and as I thought of it's as a very useful advice. Testing or racing with the 997 Porsche is not useful for You and can even do a lot of damage to Your style of driving and feel of the car and the overall progress to the LMP car. Make them get You a Porsche 991 test as it's a completely different car from the 997 and miles closer to the actual single-seat/prototype style of driving. I agree with Clio as phase 1 and I also recommend just a few laps with the race car that can produce a lot of aero-grip with a diffusor (like Seat), so You get to the aero-grip limit fast and get more relaxed in high speed turns. You are doing a marvellous job and I am amazed by Your attitude towards getting things done. :) Hope You will read it and find it reasonable. Good luck Jon!
Exactly why I am writing this comment. People like myself who are involved in motorsports professionally for over a decade can give you a reasonable and good advice when it comes to motorsports. I don't want to see Jon just having bang for a buck, especially in a car like 997 which can bring him only more seat time inside a race-car, but nothing beyond that especially not in a driver development category. I wish that he gets the best out of it and to develop as much as possible in a right way, because, trust me, he has everything he needs at this point to be on the grid and to be competitive. It's not about small steps. It's about smart steps. Right preparation and a right choice where to spend and why can make him a tough competitor to beat if done right. Even after his few laps in a tricky race-car he proved that mentally he went further then many of us ;)
Jon knows best for himself and he will do the right thing. I just wrote an opinion as he is a super nice person, full of energy and deserves only the best. Today's motorsports are though and it will drain you through every straw you provide. I just don't want to see it happening all over again especially for someone like Jon.

Jon!! Seriously!! I saw like 1/5 of your whole video blog and the ENERGY and ENTHUSIASM you put into this series is just enormous. You give your audience sense what an active and productive life can look like. It shows how you (and Janni of course :) ) can stay possittive and do everything 100%+, aside from all the haters. Although, I believe your lifestyle is far from average Joe's, but it shows how much can be done through passion and excitement (so much of us lack). With that said, keep the good work! I like your enthusiasm and energy you are sending through vlogs. I like Janni. She is not boring at all, believe me. I hope you realise that houses are actually a bit cheaper in Marbella. Even though he has an amazing house it probably didn't cost a million, specially if he has bought a couple of years ago. Investment in nice and cheap locations (and good timing) is key. Also, you can clearly compare his amazing house in Marbella to his small studio apartment in Monaco, where is much more expensive to buy property
The door looks really pretty :) I recommend that you paint a second coat over it if you haven't already to make sure that the black is completely covered and help the colour last longer :) It's also best to wait until the door is in the shade before painting as the paint might crack if it dries in direct sunlight. Thanks for the vlogs they are amazing, the new team overkill is super fun!
