About 3 months ago, my mental health was in shambles. I was a wreck. I lived in a shithole city but my best friend and I found this glowing, retro roller rink that would do $2 skate nights on Mondays and it was truly the only place I found happiness. Every memory I made there felt like it was in slow motion, like I could just soak in the memory before it was gone. I listened a lot to this song during one of the hardest moment of my short life. This slowed version reminds me of the few good moments that I had, including listening to Tame Impala late at night. Thanks for reminding me that even in the worse there is alway some good

So the main character is running across town finding their soulmate. Thinking that they want one real life reset as if it were a videogame. Slowly getting closer. Crying as they reach their door. Knocking with the anticipation like adrenalin running through their veins. The door opens and they start to sob as they hug the one person they needed all their life.
The man is going forward trying to get up the stairs but the stairs are working against him moving downwards, it shows that even when life throws challenges keep moving and that there is always light at the end of the tunnel.
