Hello! 👋 To perform metadata filtering in Amazon DocumentDB for Resource Aggregation Groups (RAG), you can use the `MetadataFilter` parameter in your RAG query. This parameter allows you to filter the results based on specific metadata properties, such as tags or custom metadata fields. For more detailed information on using the `MetadataFilter` parameter and other features of Amazon DocumentDB's RAG functionality, please refer to the Amazon DocumentDB Developer Guide: go.aws/4cr0Huw. 🖥️ ^AR
Thank you for clarifying! For performing metadata filtering in Amazon DocumentDB for Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) in a chatbot using Langchain, you can utilize the `MetadataFilter` parameter in your RAG query. This allows you to filter the results based on specific metadata properties, such as tags or custom metadata fields, to refine the information used for the chatbot's responses. For more details on implementing RAG with metadata filtering in Langchain, you can reach out to our community of experts at: go.aws/aws-repost. 🔧 ^AR

Very informative
That's great to hear! 😀
how do you connect to the db via vscode? are there any prerequisites or you just run the code in the GitHub repo?
Our community should be able to offer some guidance on this. Be sure to post any questions you may have on our re:Post forum here: go.aws/3APIE4w. ^CM
I have used MongoDB extension for connecting to DocumentDB. I think that in the video also same extension has been used.
