To ensure your strongback doesn't migrate, how about using two-sided tape to put down a pair of blocks at each corner? Put them on the insides of the legs so you don't keep kicking them, and you may have to sand/scrub the concrete to get a good bond.
The Strongback and the forms look great. I am still using a corded Bosch saber saw. I like the looks of your cordless Makita, no chance of cutting into the cord !
My corded Bosch just died a few months ago, so I went cordless. I feel certain power tools are much better corded, but this unit has lots of power. Sadly it is cheaper to buy a new tool than to have the older one fixed.
@@OrcaboatsCa I've never had much luck with a jigsaw but after watching you rip out those forms I want to revisit it, can you tell me what you're using for a blade? My jigsaw is a super-cheap B&D, maybe I'll have better luck with a better saw.
Wonderful woodboat

Thanks for the thoughts. I really don't' think this structure is going to move. I don't even have the forms on yet and it is quite heavy and solid.

@@jeffcampbell2388 I have a pretty robust blade in there with large teeth. The new battery powered Makita is pretty powerful.
