    After two years of using this machine almost daily in my Man Cave cooking experiences, I wanted to come back and do a follow up review. I can't speak highly enough about the quality and service I have had from this chamber vacuum sealer. This is the FOURTH chamber sealer I have had here at the Man Cave. It is far superior in every way to the previous models I have had. Here is a link to my original review of this unit about two years ago. I made this original review after I had been using the unit for a few months:

    I wish more folks would do long term reviews to help people have a better idea of long term performance and reliability as well as what features are useful and not useful (which u really learn over time). Thanks for taking the time to do this.

    Thank you for a very interesting and informative review. I also want to say, that the fact this is a 2nd year review, buddy, I'm sold. I've been reviewing these sealers for about a week now, and even some of the other $1000. and up models still had some bad reviews and problems. I really think I'm ready to roll the dice on this sealer. Thanks for a terrific review. Marc T.

    What a great follow up review! I have had my Vac 100 for over a year and it works perfectly, not once have I had a bad seal. Actually, I still have a lot of leftover frenchs green bean casserole, turkey, and ham from Thanksgiving of last year that I sealed, and the bags look like I just did it yesterday, and will plan to use them this year. Very very pleased with this chamber sealer. Thank you for posting and happy Thanksgiving! :)

    Thanks so much for the follow-up review. I've been researching chamber sealers all week and have pretty much settled on this guy, so it's nice to know that it held up no problems and you didn't even need their reputedly awesome customer service / user replaceable parts. I think it's just a question of when I buy it at this point.

    It's nice to see a long term review. I've got a small Avid Armor USV20 that I use mostly for bulk BBQ leftovers; at this point if I run the smoker I fill it (it's the same amount of fuel regardless of how much meat is in it) and we vac seal the leftovers. But the USV20 chamber is a bit small for pork/beef ribs so I've been eyeing this machine to replace it. This is the first "I've had it for a few years" review I've seen and it's been helpful.

    • @ManCaveMeals
      @ManCaveMeals  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Mark! This machine is not large enough to vacuum seal a whole rack of pork ribs. I keep a cheap foodsaver around for those occasions where I wanna vacuum seal something that is longer than this chamber. I don't need that very often because I rarely freeze uncooked racks of ribs. After they are cooked, I typically break them down into smaller pieces before using the Vac100 to preserve them. If you decided to go with one of these you can use MANCAVEMEALS as a promo code for 10% off.....

    I`ve seen your evolution using a Chinese vacuum machine (bad experience), then the Avid Armor USV 32 (bad experience), then this last one. I'm glad you found the best of all. In my case, I use two machines: a dry pump that gives me good results and a Henkelman Mini Jumbo, a little beast. I am not complaining about either of them, I could say that the dry pump machine is excellent and as you have said, it is perhaps the best appliance in my kitchen too, along with a thermometer and the thermal circulator. Your videos are excellent.

      I'm not sure you could pull that off... maybe a small one but If you need to vacuum seal things with that much bulk/girth, you would likely need a larger chamber sealer or stick with the channel sealer for those tasks. I keep a FoodSaver on hand just for those tasks.
