Love the video , great as usual . after watching a jon arthur video a while back he was using some dumpty wagglers at makins in warwickshire I bought some . I havent found anything that casts as well , that doesnt spook the fish as it doesnt dive at all and the small 2 and 4g ones the fish will try to eat and swim off with . I have used almost all the top brand wagglers now and although most of them have their time where they fish well the dumpty waggler for me tops them all and is an amazing all rounder
I also use the RWC dumpty wagglers in 3 gram and use 8lb reel line and they cast superb with very little splash on landing, this is the reason I use them. Sadly they have become very popular and other people are reaping the rewards of a quite landing float.
i love suffolk water park and that lake but i feeder fish it for bream, but i will definitely be doing the waggler next time, very nice video as well thank you👍👍
The float is the new matrix pellet waggler in 10g and the hooklength is 15inches, looks like a size 14 or 16 hook but the pattern of hook is Personal preference. Any 8mm pellets will work but different brands will sink at different rates. I personally use scretings pellets as they're nice and cheap and because the carp are drawn to the sound they dont have to be attractive imo. I use 6lb mainling when waggler fishing to a 4-5lb hooklength. 3000-4000 size reel for an 11ft rod. Hope this helps 👍🏼
