Two years ago my aneurysm was 4.6 cm now its 4.9. Looks like my day on the table is coming soon. My friends tell me this surgery is fairly common now. Good luck to all who have to deal with this.

The title says aneurysm but the people in the video say dissection ... two very different things . I know from personal experience, having had a Type A Aortic Dissection. So which one was it in Jean's case ?

It is an aneurysm, a dissection is what happens to the aneurysm, you have 2 emergencies: dissection (less dangerous) and rupture (extremely dangerous).

How old were you? I’m 42 and have a mild dilation of 3.9cm at the root of my aorta. Bit nervous

@@kchilz32 I am almost like you. 2 years ago the dilation was 4cm but last year it became 3.8cm. I changed many habits; no exercise, no standing too much, and drinking >50ml of good olive oil daily. I do not know why it became slightly less in size and still not increasing. The only thing I say is "glory to my God". I wish healing to all people; Jehovah Rapha.

@@123jacamen! That is great! Do you have a connective tissue disorder like Marfan syndrome? Last week I followed up and it’s still at 3.9cm been stable for the past 3 years. Glad you are doing great!

@@kchilz32 my doctor wants me to do genetic testing for Marfan but i do not want to do it. i just keep watching the dilation through imaging every 6-12 months. LORD bless you.
