Hi Damian ...I'm an old English guy (80 years old) who is still gigging and playing the old songs .... your videos have improved my rockabilly playing, and taken me up a level. Thank you very much, and keep up the good work.

Out of curiosity what pick do you use? I've been playing metal for 15 years and use a JD jazz 3 pick. I've recently decided to learn rockabilly guitar but Im having a bit of trouble with some of the strumming rythyms

For the past 6 years I've been using my own signature guitar picks. They are white celluloid and the gauge is medium(.71mm).

Great lesson man! I,m going to get your video. Just a question for you or any other rockabilly guitar players. I always wanted a gretsch guitar because I love rock and roll. Buying it is an enormous economic sacrifice and I think that I will only be able to afford the 2420t. Is it worth it? It's the Gretsch sound or I should wait till I can buy a more expensive one. Thanks for your time. Rock on!

Great lesson, great solo, but chord names would be helpful for those of us who can’t read chord shapes that easily.
