Andrew, do like the built in bug net would be great for my hammock camping. Still love my Amazon budget square down bag, was toasty in NC500,I was in shorts an t shirt while my mate had all his layers on an a bivi bag. Would always take the ratings on the bags with a pinch of salt. Keep up the great work.
Bug net a clever little feature, bit claustrophobic for me 😆 and yes all ratings need a dose of reality, actually much depending on the sleep mat underneath. thanks Kenny
Mosquito net perfect for camping in Scotland 😂 I have the Naturehike CW400 750 fill power Down sleeping bag, really warm however in colder periods I would use a sleeping bag liner with it !

I’ve just bought a relatively cheap thermal liner and was surprised how well it worked…just need to hop round in the mosquito bag in Scotland.
Really liked the review. Which winter bag have you got?
Thank you… it’s the Snugpak Softie Elite 4 and it’s very good 👍🏻

Been using a snugpak kestrel(I think it is) for years. Great bag. Apart from the snagging zip. But that may just be me….
My Softie Elite 4 is much more heavy duty, including zips, but this is a more budget bag…used it a few times now and really liking it
