You need to modify eclipse.ini file,(located in the same folder), here is a website useful for you: wiki.eclipse.org/Eclipse.ini#Specifying_the_JVM If you download the JDK by default, your javaw.exe file will be located in C:\Program Files\Java\your-java-version\ I added the -vm lines and finally worked it out. It told me there was something with the newer Java versions and so I installed Java 8 and it works fine for me now! Reply if you have any questions.

It's good that you downloaded it. Eclipse is just the IDE and wouldn't be able to interpret the code without the JDK. You won't actually open it like the IDE. It will be used in the background when running programs.

For all who gets the JDK not found errors or the other shit, y'all need to install Java(jdk) to Program Files. I did that and it has fixed it.

Put the JDK in the same folder as the Eclipse folder.
