Lanner falcon hunts doves at waterhole, Botswana

A lanner falcon hunts doves at the Monamodi waterhole in the Mabuasehube region in Botswana in the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park. The video shows ring-necked doves and Namaqua doves at the waterhole before the lanner falcon speeds in on an unsuccessful hunt. The speed of the falcon makes it difficult to see so the video clip is repeated in slow motion, and then even slower so that that the lanner falcon can be seen.
