I was recently in Japan and tested a new pressure control valve by Immatek Corporation that dramatically improves microbubble production. The video shows the degree of saturation of nitrogen gas into the water flow (downward direction) before and after the introduction of microbubbles. Unlike diffusers or nozzles that are limited to very specific conditions these valves can maintain microbubbles for a very large range of parameters and flow rates without the need to readjust pressure or resize components. One valve to do it all, very new and exciting technology!
Use this valve to complement: the Nikuni microbubble generating pumps that create micro / nano-sized bubbles much smaller and more densely packed than conventional systems. This allows a higher amount of air to be dissolved into the water flow using smaller sized pumps. Power consumption has been recorded as low as 1/3rd of the power consumption of conventional pumps - a dramatic reduction in running cost and CO2 output. Eliminates air compressors, static mixers, and other components. One pump to do suction, mixing and feeding functions all in one!
