Hello, I have to repaint the bathroom door. The paint is coming off at some parts to the point that the actual wood is visible. Do I have to buy a scraper to scrape the old paint off or will sanding it be enough? Also, do I have to apply a primer before painting at parts where the old paint is fine and there’s no need to remove it or do I have to remove the old paint anyway from the entire door?

You can change the color but first u have to see that the almirah is painted with the silver ash paint(दाने वाला पैंट)or normal enamel paint .If its normal enamel you can change it easily.But in the other case u have buy other paint also known as silver ash paint and u have to tell specially before buying that u want (दाने वाला पैंट) and you shade choice🙏
In my double bed storage wooden cot there is white fungus (mold) issue in monsoon. It only grows where color polish is not there specially in bottom. Can i paint it to solve this issue? if yes then which paint i should go with?
First you have to do proper sanding then primer will be applied wooden primer then Enamel paint of your choise dull finish or gloss finish🙏

Enamel paint will take longer time to dry as compared to chalk paint and but yes it will be cost effective it covers around 50sqft per ltr 2 coats 🙏

First we have to apply paint remover on the doors and polish then proper sanding has to be done. Then you can choice from Satin or gloss finish🙏

Could you tell me the differences between w0, w1 and P0 enamel bases ? Whenever I ask for a pure white shade the sometimes give me W1 and sometimes P0. I would like to know the real difference in terms of whiteness and coverage. Thank you.
These are bases to make colors Po is for light shades same as white paint and w1 is a little off white also used in making colors .w1 coverage is a little less 🙏
@@jatinbaggavlogs4773 One more question, why are W0 and W1 are 900ml cans whereas P0 is 1000ml ?
Sir around 100 ml of color ia added to make the shade👍🏻and dark shades have less coverage🙏
@@jatinbaggavlogs4773 I guess sir 100 ml is too much of the pigment for light shades. 100 ml less quantity may be due to pricing I suspect . By the way the P0 MRP is 273 whereas the W1 MRP is 262/-. I am really annoyed with these companies because the snow-white shade has a bluish tint whereas the dazzling white has a purplish tint. Customers who want pure white like milk has no option sadly. Anyways thanks alot.

How long does the satin finish paint need to dry fully? Also, how do you get oil stains out of it? I sanded and primed my dining table thoroughly (required 3-4 coats of primer since it was in a dark colour), and then applied 3 coats of Asian Paints apcolite premium satin finish enamel paint in the colour 7504. I let it dry for 2-3 days before using it. But I got an oil stain and by scrubbing it with soap and a sponge, I ruined the finish! Any tips to avoid this?
Sir soap and sponge only works on walls.For wood if u try anything it will not work .Only a little of turpentine oil can be used to remove stains.But oil stains are little hard to handle and on a oil base paint it gets a little hard .U can use a clear warnish in matt finish .and apply on the table fully with a soft coton cloth or dhoti .It will increase give a new look on all the table.Rubbing is also done but will not work on paint .🙏
@@jatinbaggavlogs4773 This is very helpful, thank you! So I will do a round of light sanding and a thin top coat of paint, let it dry completely, and then finish off with matte varnish. Hopefully that will help prevent achaar or haldi stains?

Yes mam you can use white oil paint it will work but i will prefer to use oil base white primer so that paint coverage can increase.it will be budget friendly also.And thanks a lot mam for support🙏

It is necessary to do double coat the primer
Single coat can also work but base should be good and main thing is sometimes some of the area remains dry and some area gets wetness so 2 coats are recomended 🙏
