Carly is such a nut. Jason was into that kiss in the beginning and I love how he hates her plan but he's the only one that seems to be trying to make it work. Carly every 10 minutes is close to messing things up. Jason has to keep her in check.
This is such a great scene from Carly saying to Hannah " baby if I hit u u will know it " to jason being sarcastic saying thanks Carly and listing all the things she did to him and finally that kiss was hot and Carly wanted to kerp going. Man Carly was a train wreck but def an iconic character. I know the other Carly s were good but all her pivotal moments have been talked about for years esp played by Sarah . Sarah really here was such a phenomenal actress. Anyone else playing the role I don't think she would have lasted. She's like the female equivalent of todd manning. A character that was a day player that was so good the writers were inspired to kerp writing for him. The best kinda collaboration. Man was Carly turned on by that kiss and Jason was really into it. I love when she grabbed him back like who cares I finalky got a kiss from my man. Hot dayum. Thanks for all these classic clips. Laura wright def made Carly her own and played her the longest but Sarah played her like a junk yard street fighter.
I wonder why Sarah played her like a street fighter, as you said, and made her very scrappy. Carly's background wasn't that rough, not rough enough for her to act like this. She was hardly abused when she was younger.. she was basically just a spoiled brat when growing up, so I don't know why she often acts like she'd had a tough life when fighting or arguing or when she doesn't get her way.

I know later her dad was revealed & I was not watching at that time & maybe her being the way she was is genetic or predetermined lol. I will say I had a friend who was adopted by a very wealthy family & the mom raised her to be very " lady like " prim & proper & she was not at all. I saw the spoiled aspect but she was like a brawler. She acted very tough & " street " not very classy. She always had a ton of friends bc she had the huge mcmansion & water front home in the Hamptons so I think she had a lot of friends bc she threw huge parties at her house every weekend & shed take u to the Hamptons for weeks in the summer so a lot of people liked that . I got very close to her for a couple years & the adoption thing really really bothered her. At the time I could understand feeling like u arent blood related to ur family ( blood was a big thing in my family like no matter how awful this aunt or this cousin treats u , u must always make up bc they are ur blood ) but otoh I did not get it bc her mom parents raised her from birth & gave her love money attention everything! So it def made me think this poor adopted mom. Bc she would throw jabar at her that were viscious about things bc she wasnt her bio mom. Then she did find her mom & she lived literally in a trailer park & had more kids , boys, that she kept. Her bio family was very poor . Let me tell u she ran back to her adopted family so fast in ny & I'm thinking now she is over her issues . So from what I heard about her bio family a lot of her ways were genetic .

I guess I didn't realize how being given up for adoption can cause so much hurt for the person. I read some where that Steve didn't want to have a relationship with Carly because Sarah was a smoker, and Maurice wanted to work with her probably bc Steve was able to get an Emmy while working with her dont know if it's true.
That "who do you think you are?" was cringe. SJB needs someone more experienced to scrap with. That's why her stuff with Tony Geary was always so good. She could go toe to toe with him.
Watching these clips in hindsight, I don’t know why there was ever a “friendship,” between these two. Carly was awful to Jason every chance she got, and manipulative. Their continued best friends act is one of the biggest mysteries of GH lol

Jason makes some very excellent points in the middle of this when he points out all the nasty things Carly has done to him just to 'look out for him' as she claims or just so 'they can be a family', and when he does, instead of looking embarrassed or apologizing, she actually gets mad at him for complaining and makes it sound like these things are his fault! She needs to go back to Ferncliff lol.
If Carly had been sane, sensible at all, composed and focused, maybe Jason would've felt more settled down and could fall more easily for her. She was just so neurotic.
Loved the slap. Ugh on the rest. w/ Carly's character they ruined Jason's for me. Robin hurt him 2 times, Carly 100 times, but he's still supporting Carly. Ugh Ugh Ugh.

Geez, what a disgusting psycho Carly is. Being nasty to someone she doesn't even know just because the girl was talking to Jason, then actually slapping her when the girl was assertive and talked back to her?? I'm really glad Hannah slapped her back. I love how shocked Carly looked when she did that. Probably one of the few women on this who would do that. Why is everyone on this psycho's side?? I hated the way she always treated Hannah and Elizabeth, calling them names just because they had the audacity to talk to Jason, when they didn't even know about her and their relationship.
What's with the slapping? In my days the girls fought just like the guys some even fought better punching, picking them up body slamming them pinning them down with their knees & start punching away while blood is flying everywhere. I know because that's how my girlfriends fought-just like a man. I remember one time my ex told my best friend "B-tch step outside" she downed her beer slammed her empty mug down & said lets go went out the door first he followed so did the rest of the bar to watch. He went to pull her hair (like he always did me) she grabbed that arm & his body picked him up spined him around body slammed him she pinned his shoulders to the cement walk with her knees & started punching away on his face blood flying everywhere. When she got done she took his hat & stomped on it in a mud puddle. Left him laying there while she went back into the bar. Same thing happened with another friend my ex came in & started pulling me out by my hair she jump up came rushing out after us & said nobody touches or hits my friends & with one swing knocked him out & he went down like a wet noodle. We left him lying in the street we went back into the bar for another round of drinks. My girlfriends fight just like men there is no slapping or petty BS.
Jason had her pegged anytime by some miracle carly finally gets what she wants she does something stupid to wreck it all over something that doesn't matter. Case in point she finally after 3 years got Jason to want her as a woman not just as mikeys mom and she sees liz and jason dancing. Normally carly would run in break it up ask what the hell are they doing then Jason would explain he was doing it bc she asked bc shes grieving lucky carly would apologize for acting out cry and theyd be fine. Instead she walks away goes to sonny and screws him and wrecks her chances with Jason 4 ever .
CarlyBabes is the worst thing that ever happened in the history of GH I've been watching GH for 45 years and I remember everything CarlyBabes had nothing on Brenda but her leftovers 😂 I'm definitely going back to my Sonny and Brenda true love episode can't wait for Vanessa Marcil return 2023❤ Sonny and Brenda it's her blood that runs through Sonny veins real talk 💯💯💯
Jason was in every relationship Carly had and always tried controlling who she could be with, if she wasn't with him then it had to be sonny and no one else. 😒
