Just wondering about summer use too though. That's also why I mentioned the alternative hob! Really appreciate your reply!

My parents have one of these, its wonderful as a heating system, probably the best ive ever seen, but for cooking, its hopeless. There is absolutely no control over the oven. If the water is hot, it switches off. Nit a hope of any propper cooking, other than a little bit of frying and heating the odd thing through.
