Only downside is the considerable amount of self noise. I love the sound of the type 07 mk2, but the hiss of the tweeter is too much for my ears unfortunately.

have you tried different cables? have you tried a different apartment maybe its just your home electrical wiring ?

@@nofood1 thank you, it is not. Even when plugged without any audio connection they have a self noise that I cannot work with. I sent them back and bought Neumann KH 310s instead. Super happy.
