    KeepCup was founded in 2009 when two cafe owners saw the great need to reduce the amount of single-use, disposable coffee cups going out their doors.
    The KeepCup introduced what is being called the 'Reuse Revolution'. They've crafted a plethora of different coffee cup builds and colours constructed of different materials such as polypropylene and tritan plastics, tempered lime glass, natural Portuguese cork and recycled cork. What's great is that all parts of the KeepCup are recyclable at end of life.
    If you're in the market to get a reusable coffee cup and you want to put an end to your disposable coffee cup footprint - the KeepCup could be a great cup for you.

    I got the 8oz almond glass cork. Really great, trying to reduce my waste so this purchase was great! Brought it for $33 but it was worth it!!

    It would be better if you did a thorough review of the product. So far I'm not convinced. I've experienced issues with drips while drinking from the lid after a year of use of the original plastic cup. Also I don't think this glass cup is meant for hot coffee if it's not going to make it safe to hold. If they had an option to add a sleeve then that would be better than having the sliver of cork or rubber which doesn't do anything except making the cup prone to being dropped. Sorry but I'm just disappointed with the design. Looks nice but not practical.

    8oz or 12oz??? But what is the diameter at the bottom?
    I need to know if it will fit into the cup holder in my car! The disposable cup size for flat white fits perfectly into my car's coffee holder

    How come the Cork-Lids vs NonCork-Lids.
    Have a different Plastic Design internally?
    Which one is more leak proof?

    I got the glass w/ cork in the "Press" color in S, M, & L. The option of the lid is nice but I'm loving just being able to have the glass cups to drink coffee out of at home :)

    How well does it seal? especially on its side. I like to throw mine in my backpack when not in use and i don't want it to leak any residue if i don't have a place to wash it.

    • @RushfasterTV
      @RushfasterTV  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Our understanding is that it's fairly well sealed - especially with the little flap that covers the lid (most coffee cups just have a hole and no cover). Although I'd try and opt for a way to keep the cup upright (best if you can put it in a waterbottle pocket or something similar). Hope that helps! - Ed

    I like the keep cut, but the cup gets hot even with the band.

    • @RushfasterTV
      @RushfasterTV  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yeah the band can sometimes still feel hot (especially if you've got an extremely hot coffee or tea in there!). Which KeepCup did you have?

    Do you think the hole for drinking is large enough for a reusable metal straw?

    • @RushfasterTV
      @RushfasterTV  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Great question - wish I covered it in the video! :O
      I'd say that it should fit most reusable metal straws given that KeepCup have actually made their own reusable metal straw - so it'll definitely fit that at least!
      rushfaster.com.au/product/keepcup/reusable-straw-stainless-steel/19653/
      For your reference if you already have your own straw, these are the dimensions of that straw: 21.5 x 0.6 x 0.6 cm
      Hope that helps! :)

    I saw the Star wars keepcup on Amazon USA. Its looks very nice but why it is so expensive?

    • @RushfasterTV
      @RushfasterTV  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hmm hard to say, not too familiar with that collection - but I assume its a bit more expensive because of the Star Wars affiliation. - Ed

    not keen at all on the background music. did not watch more than 30 second of your video because of it.

    • @RushfasterTV
      @RushfasterTV  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Fair enough - most people seem to have enjoyed our song choices but totally understandable that it's not everyone's cup of tea. Thanks for the feedback.

    • @johncitizen8253
      @johncitizen8253 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@RushfasterTV it's not the choice of the song, it's the fact that there is a song there at all. it makes it hard to concentrate on what you're saying, there is no need for it a all.

    • @RushfasterTV
      @RushfasterTV  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@johncitizen8253 Yep - totally understandable, again I think this is a matter of stylistic preference. Our audience will always have a mix of different tastes and that's part and parcel with things like this. In this case, most people like background music because it keeps the videos engaging (admittedly the music here is more prominent than what we usually have), and there are some people who prefer no music at all because they would prefer to just listen to the review. It's just the nature of having a wide audience with different tastes. But definitely appreciate your input nonetheless :)
      Thanks
