Gotta say, having a camera man focusing entirely on the production side of things is allowing plenty more personality to shine from both yourself and Torbs. I started watching your videos in 2014-2015 and thought they were outstanding, then there was a definite shift throughout 17-18-19 and I burned out a little on your content. Last two series have been extremely enjoyable and I can't help but think its because you've got someone to share the load on production. Great work mate, hopefully you're out enjoying a beer and a fire now that the NP's are open and the fire bans are lifting. See you out there.

Hey Ronny. Great video mate. One question, what's with the change to the intro music. My son and i loved the old tune (so much so its now my ring tone).
Empty beach, Empty track. I recon this video was from last week. You snuck out around 3 am, went Bush/Beach, Hiding between sand hills,,,, when all of us are stuck with our fire pit on the veranda.
Ronny: We should smash that dune to see the sunset. Torbs: which means we’re coming down til after sunset, which means we’re not getting to camp til after dark.
I am pretty sure that "limestone patch" is technically fossilized sand dune. It is absolutely gnarly the way it erodes. Seeing fossilized sand dune underneath existing sand dunes is way cool. I have typically seen it exposed on beach. The stuff on the beach erodes like a cheese grater.

Hello Ronny! I have a question regarding bolts... I’ve noticed Toyota’s vehicles add bolts to their wheels as their series go higher in performance or size. For example, small sedans like Yaris have 4 bolts as bigger models like Corolla or Camry have 5 bolts. I’ve seen this pattern on SUVs, for example the RAV4 bears 5 bolts and the Fortuner has 6. Another example is the HiLux, where the 2WD version has 5 bolts and the 4WD has 6 bolts, being 6 bolts like a seal of higher standards. Do you know why is it that the 70 Series has 5 bolts while the 40 Series or 200 Series has 6 bolts? Thank you for your time!
Sorry for the ignorance but what is a "Razorback"?? Great video once again guys. Ditto what the others have mentioned about the dedicated cameraman. Aerials are awsome!!
Luan Marr A razorback in sand dunes. Is where the back edge of the dune has been blown away by wind leaving a leading slope with a sharp peak and sudden drop off at the back. We have people every year taken to hospital because they never checked the dune first then have rolled their vehicle when they have gone over to fast. Or crashed their bikes, quads or buggies.

I've never realised Australia is on a similar diet as UK - coke with everything. I used to have a dream of renting an F-150 and doing a road trip in the US. Now it is slowly becoming a LC 79 in Australia ;) Too bad LC 80 is too wide for Japanese roads. Prado takes too much space as well with its barn door - hard to open the trunk on any car park or even some spaces on the side of the road. Might do what I can with the new RAV4 when the time comes :(
@@rustynumbat It is too small, slow and loud. It is great for local people who do not need to use motorways. I like it a lot though but it just doesn't fit my needs. Saying that, I want to try Suzuki Escudo/Vitara. The previous one. It has dif lock and low gear set. The difference btwn Prado and Jimny is big enough for there to be another 4.6m long model. :) There is Toyota FJ, but I do not like it. I think I might go with Hiace. It has an AWD trim. Sliding door. Will be good for camping and might be enough for hunting when comes to AWD. I would prefer to have a dif lock as Japan rural areas are troublesome sometimes. Especially for the things I want to do. The perfect car doesn't exist so I will check my priorities. I can always put sliding boards into the trunk :)
