Thank you for providing this great RC series sir. In the 3rd ques it is mentioned we have to identify the options that are true according to the passage. The passage says that the intellectual systems are based on an objectivist approach, and the objectivist approach is unskewed by particular points of view. Therefore, shouldn't option B also be a correct choice ?
In Q1 A option is more suitable because In D ) it's mentioned biography , we don't known whether the writer of biography like Painter or not , may be he was disagree with painter point of you , so then he write bad against Painter . If question mentioned autobiography then it sound correct . Please Correct me if i am wrong .
@@puneetgirdhar8166 bro there are two terms biography nd autobiography Biography is written by someone else nd autobiography is written by the same person,........that's whyy
I have a doubt in 6th q - it says people r rejecting objectivism nd considering the search for truth; so how it is similar to search for an imaginary thing because it is not nonexistent as per question they r just rejecting it
For q1 ) please look into the mentioned options and analysis Answer : C) A historian's account of events that may have led to the Russian revolution would be the closest to objectivism, as it is an attempt to provide a single neutral description of events without any particular point of view or bias. The passage defines objectivism as the belief that there is a single neutral description of each event that is unskewed by any particular point of view and has a privileged position over all other accounts. why not D A biography of a famous painter is not the closest to objectivism, as it does not relate to the legal system, which is the main focus of the passage. The passage is discussing the flaws of objectivism in the legal system and how it can lead to the exclusion of those who are not fluent in the language of the law. The other answer choices, such as an editorial written in a newspaper column, a travel blog describing a surreal place, and a historian's account of events that may have led to the Russian revolution, are also unrelated to the legal system and the issues with objectivism discussed in the passage. Also mentioned in the third sentence of first para legal judgements are based on competing stories about " events "
I thought the same too.. But on second thought for option c). I think it is biased because it says, a historians account of events which may have lead.....meaning- so the historian might have done his own research and jotted down events that HE though, might have lead to the revolution. The events might be true or might not be, its not sure, its according to Him. So there is where the biasness lies. While for option d). Its a biography. So all the events mentioned there has to be true. There is no opinion or pov of one's own. So i think option d). Is correct actually. Right??
Sir, one question like... In 9:00 their was a word 'intellectual systems", it was mentioned only once in the passage... like how were able to locate/find that thing? Hope my question is clear, please let me know. Moreover, do you recommend solving critical reasoning questions? They say it improves accuracy around inference questions. Sir please have a word. Psst... your content is amazing

An editorial can never be neutral. Also, no one mentions bad things in a biography, as you said.

Answer : C) A historian's account of events that may have led to the Russian revolution would be the closest to objectivism, as it is an attempt to provide a single neutral description of events without any particular point of view or bias. The passage defines objectivism as the belief that there is a single neutral description of each event that is unskewed by any particular point of view and has a privileged position over all other accounts.
why not D
A biography of a famous painter is not the closest to objectivism, as it does not relate to the legal system, which is the main focus of the passage.

Much more logical :)

Scanning comes with practice. Try to make a visual 8 on the passage. You should find the keyword in most cases.
