I have just been listening to various recordings of this piece of music, some using 17th century harpsichords; but this is by far the best, most musical, version of them all! A superb interpretation!😊👍
DEFINITELY the BEST performance of this 'mysterious' piece. Eva's play is so subtle, soft, constant, flowing, the sound of the piano is so light... Probably the composer would have appreciated this way of magnifying his heavenly music.
This performance was the reason why the piano was invented; I didn't know a piano could sound like this, or that this piece could fit a piano so well; it's a match made in heaven (and of the currently 70K views about 2K are me). Thank you!
Dear Eva, I cannot get enough from this piece in your interpretation. Such an easy tune, such a big amount music. You touched my soul with your interpretation. There is nothing more which can make clear how important culture is, especially during Corona times...thank you so much!
Much better at a slower paced tempo, IMO. Original is very prestissimo. Slow versions, like Xavier Jara on guitar, is perfection of this music. Ferrari was never the best driver of his own cars.
I like so much this piece, and here 1:48 (this! 1:54 it is as if after the search for a moment it skimmed what it is looking for, but a limit prevents it from getting there: Les barricades mystérieuses 🙂) oh my... I can’t find the words to make sense of what this piece evokes in me. Thank you for your wonderful interpretation ❤
SO WONDERFUL AS ALWAYS!!!!! Thank you for one of my favourite French composers and for an excellent performance, I've added this great video to my public playlist called "My Favourite Classical Music", again all the best from Poland, have a happy week. Joanna
my music history professor was talking a few weeks ago about how Couperin's harpsichord music doesn't translate to piano as well as Bach's but i think you just totally proved him wrong :) such beautiful playing ♥
Eva your sublime facial expressions to begin this piece combined with your exquisite playing make me play this every morning and many times during the day thank you so much for bringing joy and love in my life
I know it's not an harpsichord, as historically should be, but I really love your interpretation, awareness of the piece and so the resulting sound from the piano. My standard reference for a performance of this piece, many thanks!🙏🏻
Dear Eva, I am deeply impressed by you wonderful, peaceful, rhythmic interpretation of this famous piece of Couperin. Thank you so much. Besides, I am so happy to subscribe to your channel.
Absolutely stunning! Your interpretation is perfect. Lovely phrasing and dynamics; this truly is music to the ears. Beautiful! I hope you continue posting videos like this.
Drzim ti palce v tvojej klavirnej kariere. Hras naozaj s citom a pochopenim pre skladatela. Prajem vsetko dobre. 👍🙂
As a classical guitar player, I first heard this song transcribed for the guitar, and I fell in love with it. I prefer the tempo you play this piece. IMHO, most of the keyboard performances play this piece too slow. Well done!
Eva, with all respect, the beauty of your gestures, and your eyes now and then softly emerging as if they just came out after looking for inspiration inside you, have distracted me from listening to this wonderful music. Piteous predicament of mine!
This young lady plays this so gracefully.
I have just been listening to various recordings of this piece of music, some using 17th century harpsichords; but this is by far the best, most musical, version of them all! A superb interpretation!😊👍
Beautiful tempo. Too many people rush this gorgeous and rightly loved music. :-)
👍👍👍
@@ahnungs-los4543absolutely!
I prefer it a bit slower.
The tempo marking for the piece literally translates to "lively" or "brisk". I prefer it about this tempo or a little slower.
DEFINITELY the BEST performance of this 'mysterious' piece. Eva's play is so subtle, soft, constant, flowing, the sound of the piano is so light... Probably the composer would have appreciated this way of magnifying his heavenly music.
Avez vous écouté celle de Cziffra ?
💯 Agree

Praise the Lord, oh my soul. Such a beautiful piece of music.
Oh ! Bravo !

This is played at the perfect tempo with a lot of emotion and beautiful dynamics.
Much better at a slower paced tempo, IMO. Original is very prestissimo. Slow versions, like Xavier Jara on guitar, is perfection of this music. Ferrari was never the best driver of his own cars.
Dreamlike and wonderfully played, I hear the piece repeatedly several times.
One of the most thrilling renderings I know of this outstanding piece of music - as if not from this world.
I like so much this piece, and here 1:48 (this! 1:54 it is as if after the search for a moment it skimmed what it is looking for, but a limit prevents it from getting there: Les barricades mystérieuses 🙂) oh my... Thank you so much for this. I miss a lot the hugs of my mom, this music makes me feel receiving a divine hug from God in which I beleive
