How to write IGNOU Assignment 2021
Candidates are requested to read each point carefully to prevent from making mistakes while writing the assignment of IGNOU. We have created the instructions point wise so that you can read and understand it easily. Point-1: Use only foolscap size paper or A4 size paper to write your assignments. Do not use thin papers.
Point-2: Leave at least one or a few lines after completing your one answer so that the evaluator writes a useful comment on blank areas.
Point-3: We recommend using ruled paper instead of blank paper to write your assignment because it is also advised by the IGNOU Officials.
Point-4: Candidates can use a Black or Blue pen to write their assignments for any TEE session. Point-5: Candidates are not allowed to use the Red pen or other colour's pen. Point-6: Better handwriting also benefits for best marking in your assignment work. Point-7: Candidates have to write their assignments with their hand. Point-8: Do not print or type your assignments with the help of a computer which is not allowed.
Point-9:They cannot copy their answer from any units/blocks given by the university. If you copied any answer then you will get zero marks for that copied question. Point-10: Candidates have to write an assignment solution with their own help, if you copied any assignments from other students then your assignment will be rejected by the centre.
Point-11: Prepare or write each course assignment separately. Do not write everyassignment in one set.
Point-12: Write each question before an answer so you don't need to attach a question paper while submitting the assignment. Point-13: After finishing the work of assignment writing, use a paper file and arrange all your assignments in a proper manner. (Note: Plastic file will not be accepted by the university in any circumstances).
Point-14: Candidate must be sent their complete assignments to the coordinator of the allotted study centre. You cannot send to any other IGNOU Centre like Regional Centre, Evaluation Division, and Registration for evaluation. Point-15: It is noted that the candidates have to submit their assignment personally so you can't send it through email, post or courier. Note Due to lockdown in India, the university has started to accept the IGNOU Assignment through email or online
Point-16: Don't forget to receive the receipt for the submission of the assignment.
Point-17: After submitting your assignments to the coordinator, they send an acknowledgement to the study centre. Point-18: If you have applied to change your study centre then you have to send your assignments to the original centre until you did not get any confirmation from the University of study centre change. If you got a notice from the university for a successfully change centre then you can submit it to the new centre. That's It.
We hope that the above points will be helpful for those students who confused or have no idea that what to write on the 1st page and what instructions needed to follow to successfully submit the assignments to IGNOU.

Namaste!! I didn't get study material so far ..i took admission in July 2022..last date of Submission of assignment is 31 March 2023...how should I make assignments? It is difficult to me.. please help
Let me give some more accurate recommendations /corrections as per ignou guidelines
1.use A4 size ruled sheets
2.try to write in your own words (take help from book or Google)
3 . 20marke =500 words , 10 marks =250 words ,5 marks =100 words
4. Give 4 cm margin on left side (compulsary)
5.u can definitely write on both sides or can use one side ruled sheets incase to draw diagram...choice ie all urs
6. Do try to write point wise and highlight imp points
7. Use ONLY paper file to attach (not plastic one )
8. Submit assignment before due date and collect receipt
9. Do make a pdf in phone incase need
10. only use blue and black pen to write black for qus and blue for ans
11. To write accurate ans start with into then main answer and at last a small conclusion

I have actually chose a college for study centre by name "AV College of arts and science", at the time of application. But when I have cross checked the same today in prospectus in hyderabad region, that study centre and the centre code are not available in it. Now where shall I submit my assignments. For yearly courses, July 2021 and January 2022 students will write the same assignments? Why January students get 8 months time to submit (October 2022), but July students are getting only 3 months? (April 2022). Assignments for July were uploaded this week on website.

Hello ma'am! Thank you so much for this video. I have a doubt, I have written my assignments on plane A4 size sheets and that too only on one side to avoid the writing problems due to ink. I have attended the induction meeting and there they said that we can use any sheet but I'm still afraid whether I should continue writing my other assigments like this or not?
It's okay don't worry, you can take care of this from next time. They won't cut marks due to this reason, it's just that they have provided some guidelines to follow as some students don't know where to start.

Log in with your student ID on IGNOU's website and you'll be able to see all the subjects you've got in the first year, you have to make assignments for those subjects.

Hello, I took the admission in August 2021 for Post Graduation Diploma in environment and occupational health (PGDEOH). It has 5 compulsory and 2 elective subjects followed by a Project. Can you please guide me when I have to submit the assignment.

I think the PGDEOH exam will be on an annual base but please confirm it by your side.
And if it is the annual base then your exam will be in the June.

First you need to submit the newly updated assignments for the session in which you're appearing for the TEE. Last date for assignment submission (December 2021) is 30th Nov.
