Hello! I have just started watching your videos today and I'm really enjoying the dyeing videos. I was wondering. When you are moving the yarn from the soaking bath into the tub on the stove, why don't you use the soaking water to heat up rather then getting all fresh water like you've done.
Hi! That is an excellent question! Usually I will reuse the soaking water for soaking another batch, but for these videos I mostly did not simply out of habit. At the same time water usage is something that I am interested in limiting, and this would of course be an excellent way to do so. So thank you for pointing that out to me, I will absolutely keep that in mind going forward! Because there is really no reason why I could not reuse that water, you are absolutely correct about that. 🙂
@@JDiamondW1 I'm happy you are enjoying them! And yes, there will be more. The entire series is already recorded, so there will be 20 episodes of yarn dyeing airing during the summer and early fall. I am also working on other projects at the moment, that I also hope will be interesting, fun and hopefully inspiring. So there will be quite a few videos posted on the channel this year.
