I would like to know if the credits for the relevant courses completed by me can be transferred to the IIT Madras degree after I enroll in the degree program and reach the Bsc level or higher. If yes, please let me know if the credits for the courses that I completed from NPTEL, before joining the IIT Madras degree program in Data Science and Applications, have any validity period i.e. will the credits for the courses completed from NPTEL lose their validity after a few years. No, this is not the case. You have two options for entering into this degree - Either you can give the qualifier exam for entrance or you can be directly admitted if you are eligible for jee advanced. none of them have a co-relation

One Correction this degree is not UGC Approved rather IIT Degrees don't need UGC Approval as IITs were created by an Act of Parliament, they are not governed by UGC and do not need approval to “institute course of study". The credentials you filled while registering for qualifier will remain same till the exam. After the exam you will be provided with the official IIT Madras student email and password

I didn't say that in any of my videos - there's no such provision from IITM I said it's preferable to use a laptop for this course which is somehow necessary for Programming and Data Science. (I think you got this confusion from my other video where I told that I got a laptop from my own college which is MAIT Delhi)

I joined the 2024 qualifier process just and got your video,
You said that you will get laptop from iit side for a limited students so does i have to fill seperate form for laptop,or tell me how can i get a laptop from iit side in 2024????
I didn't say that in any of my videos - there's no such provision from IITM
I said it's preferable to use a laptop for this course which is somehow necessary for Programming and Data Science.
(I think you got this confusion from my other video where I told that I got a laptop from my own college which is MAIT Delhi)
