tbh, BTS has been holding back with their performances on the American awards show. 😂They really go Super Bowl level big when the shows are in Asia. Idol at the MMA, Mic Drop at MAMAs, etc. It's an experience.

RM is amazing, you should watch BTS’s speech at the United Nation 2018. RM gave an all-English speech (a language in which he self-learned) in front of dozens of the most powerful people in the world. It was really something to watch. As an asian-American, I can never pull of what he did.

Dude is it just me who is satisfied by the sound of jimin’s and taehyung’s bead on their shirt hitting their mic, or when Suga, namjoon, j-hope jungkook or Jin pronounce a world with p in it and you can hear them breath out is just satisfying to hear.
Do you guys remember back in those days, bts performance would be cut because they weren't 'popular'. Those performance were only 2-3 minutes long.. But now they got a 14 minutes long performance. Im so proud of how far they have come!

For once I'm seeing something interesting trending #1 in US and I actually enjoyed it a lot. I've heard of BTS before (my niece is a fan and went to their concert here) but I haven't seen any performance till now. Really good dancers, on point vocals and unique style.
And they help write/compose/produce their own music (which is probably why their live performances are better than those that just have the music handed to them). They actually care about the song they are singing/performing. Fun fact: the guy in the green jacket (stage name 'RM') wrote four of these songs. And the guy in the white satin suit wrote and produced that song and is part of the Korean Music Copyright Association because of the sheer number of songs he's composed/produced. As a person in their 30s who has become a bit jaded with popular music nowadays, BTS has been a breath of fresh air. Their music is dynamic and talks about more than just romantic love (like depression/anxiety, social inequality, materialism, etc.). Thanks for the great comment and observations! :D

Check out finale with all of the other groups on stage together where Jin goes into full out chaotic mode. It's funnier than hell once he gets going and such a transition from "Worldwide Handsome" into his usual dorky self (in a good way!).
Not everything is live, there are pre-recorded parts, and more in Jimin's lines but it's normal, since the choreo has the most focus on him. The mics are on but they are not singing all the time.

If they are not singing cuz the dance requires a lot of concentration, they dont mouth the words which makes it seem like they are the ones singing which I love seeing

Hello! I suggest you give a listen to their albums "Love yourself Tear" and "Wings" for starters, lyric videos help a lot. Older albums are all amazing but these are my personal favorites! I hope you give them a chance!

I can't believe I used to look down on these talented dudes. MIC Drop was a song for haters and it hit me hard since I used to hate them myself but listening to everyone of these, is like getting hit by a truck, a truck full of talented people like these guys.

Actually, i love their company bighit, i mean they literally allow their idols to shine, to let them do what they want. The boys did great. Their performance was awesome. Solo...were outstanding. Well i am not an army, i am an exol and a sm trash. One of the most problematic company... Who don't know how to treat artist and promote them. Sm has great family and talented artist but the company 's administration should learn from bighit how to treat their artist well and promote them.

Let's face it, BTS is the only reason why I watch any type of show these days, it could be a music show or an award show, it could be asian or western, I don't care, I am here to support BTS because so far in my 31 years of life I have never seen an artist like them. They have passion and they do not waste my time, the lyrics are good they guys are charismatic and humble but also educated. They do not have any kind of drama with alcohol, drugs or women (or men fo that matter) is just pure passion for music and raw talent. I simply love BTS and I will continue to support them.

I’ve always been more into older music, artists I can’t no longer see live because they’ve passed away or disbanded, so when I would see videos of their performances I’d think “how lucky were those people to be alive at that time”. No other artist had ever made me feel this way to say “I saw them live, I was alive when this happened”. I am so fortunate to be an army and being able to witness the magic that is BTS and their music/performances.

The moment I had goosebumps when EPIPHANY started playing! Jin was actually the MC of this almost 3-hr show and he had to play the piano, sing solo and do the epic Fake Love performance all at the same time and he nailed all of it! Ladies and gentlemen, Kim Seokjin and the amazing man that he is!
J-hope and JK are most stable when performing live, in my opinion, they sound like almost exactly like the recorded version,, Golden hyung Golden maknae
To present a such incredible performance, they practice more than 12 hours a day. And Jin one of the member who had no experience, worked from 7am to 2am. That’s why they are #1.

I suggest you give a listen to their albums on itunes or spotify .. but like if you have the time just dive through their work don't listen to one recommendation, their discography is very diverse and I'm sure you'll find your happiness! Lyric videos are also available on TH-cam!

The guy in the all white satan not only wrote/produced that song but is part of the Korean Music Copyright Association because he's made so many songs. They are very close, like brothers, and I think the fact that it's the members of the group that are directly involved in their own music that helps the performance seem authentic. Dude is it just me who is satisfied by the sound of jimin’s and taehyung’s bead on their shirt hitting their mic, or when Suga, namjoon, j-hope jungkook or Jin pronounce a world with p in it and you can hear them breath out is just satisfying to hear.
Do you guys remember back in those days, bts performance would be cut because they weren't 'popular'. Those performance were only 2-3 minutes long.. But now they got a 14 minutes long performance. Im so proud of how far they have come!

For once I'm seeing something interesting trending #1 in US and I actually enjoyed it a lot. I've heard of BTS before (my niece is a fan and went to their concert here) but I haven't seen any performance till now. Really good dancers, on point vocals and unique style.

And they help write/compose/produce their own music (which is probably why their live performances are better than those that just have the music handed to them). They actually care about the song they are singing/performing. Fun fact: the guy in the green jacket (stage name 'RM') wrote four of these songs. And the guy in the white satin suit wrote and produced that song and is part of the Korean Music Copyright Association because of the sheer number of songs he's composed/produced.
As a person in their 30s who has become a bit jaded with popular music nowadays, BTS has been a breath of fresh air. Their music is dynamic and talks about more than just romantic love (like depression/anxiety, social inequality, materialism, etc.).

Not everything is live, there are pre-recorded parts, and more in Jimin's lines but it's normal, since the choreo has the most focus on him. The mics are on but they are not singing all the time.

Let's face it, BTS is the only reason why I watch any type of show these days, it could be a music show or an award show, it could be asian or western, I don't care, I am here to support BTS because so far in my 31 years of life I have never seen an artist like them. They have passion and they do not waste my time, the lyrics are good they guys are charismatic and humble but also educated. They do not have any kind of drama with alcohol, drugs or women (or men fo that matter) is just pure passion for music and raw talent. I simply love BTS and I will continue to support them.

Wow. What a privilege. I’ve always been more into older music, artists I can’t no longer see live because they’ve passed away or disbanded, so when I would see videos of their performances I’d think “how lucky were those people to be alive at that time”. No other artist had ever made me feel this way to say “I saw them live, I was alive when this happened”. I am so fortunate to be an army and being able to witness the magic that is BTS and their music/performances.
That's why I love listening to kpop because It brings back the vibe of music from the 90's to the early 2000's that you don't hear anymore.
This is exactly how I feel. I'm so proud to be alive at this time, watching BTS climb to the very heights of accomplishment and being able to cheer them along on the way! :)

The moment I had goosebumps when EPIPHANY started playing! Jin was actually the MC of this almost 3-hr show and he had to play the piano, sing solo and do the epic Fake Love performance all at the same time and he nailed all of it! Ladies and gentlemen, Kim Seokjin and the amazing man that he is!

And they help write/produce/compose almost all their own songs. The guy in the green jacket wrote/helped produce three of the solos in this performance as well as the group song. The guy in the all white satan not only wrote/produced that song but is part of the Korean Music Copyright Association because he's made so many songs. They are very close, like brothers, and I think the fact that it's the members of the group that are directly involved in their own music that helps the performance seem authentic. When you pair talent and hard work, you get BTS. Thanks for you great comment! :D
