Not that a majority of real scientists ever actually believed this stuff, it is just easy publicity because disaster stories sell.

Crops take in CO2 and give off oxygen. How does not growing plants reduce CO2? I guess you could argue for growing them differently, but not not growing them.

Although they do not use motorized vehicles or generators, I believe that the Amish do use kerosene and diesel for some things (for example, a diesel powered sawmill). Shouldn't he have been focusing on that rather than on their breathing?
No, the Amish don't even use that stuff, they really shouldn't be worrying about it at all because they already help, according to people who believe in global warming, ( I don't believe in global warming).

This helped me discover the real life cause for global warming: runners. They're always causing so much friction with their marathons and training. Plus, they release so much Co2 when they're done running. I think we should reduce the number of runners to save the polar bears. That brings me to a question: Would you rather run the Boston Marathon or see a polar bear?
True! But we need to remember the true culprits here: the whales. We need to kill them and fix deforestation because they're mammals and they won't stop stealing oxygen!

Well, energy produced on the surface of the earth from non-excavated material, is basically a cycle, much like the water cycle...
Although the water in the air is the most abundant greenhouse gas in the atmosphere, it does not accoynt much to climate change, because almost all of it is part of a cycle
Same goes for energy
Energy, unlike Carbon dioxide, transfers to other things all the time and becayse you yourself are part of the surface of the earth, your movements account to literally nothing even at the microscopic scale

I was quite amused as I read down through the comments at the number of people who said 'the Amish will never see this.' As a Mennonite, which is similar to the Amish in a lot of ways, I know quite a bit about Plain culture and you may be surprised at all the Amish who HAVE seen this video. There's quite a few that carry smartphones and are probably laughing over this as well. 😃
My 78 cousins will see this when they're older and leave the amish
