first week of school at yonsei university, myeongdong + hongdae shopping, & cafes in korea 🇰🇷

after two weeks in korea, i officially started school at yonsei university!
i attended my in person classes (kli and global management), and i also went to a cafe as well as shopping districts in seoul during my free time! :)
i would say this week was a bit more chill since it was only syllabus week so i was able to go out more~
follow my adventures as an exchange student in south korea and for more yonsei university content !! ^-^

heyy awesome video! Do you have any advice for an american wanting to apply for Underwood international? I have many extracurriculars, and I´m going to get my seal of bi-lliteracy for Korean, but my GPA is pretty mid loll

thanks a lot!! ^-^ my major is actually in the underwood international department but i went in through my university’s study abroad program and the gpa requirement for that was fairly low. however, different programs have different gpa requirement so i think it would be good to check the gpa requirement on the specific program you choose!

also, having many extracurriculars and seal of bi-literacy is really good! but i don’t recall needing to mention any of those except for the “study plan/resolution” that yonsei asks of us once we get accepted. it is a document with 5 questions on it and i was able to talk about my extracurricular activities on there, but it was already after i was accepted to the university so not during the application process. i hope that helped! and if u have more specific questions, feel free to email me as well!
