    I have a grex airbrush, very much similar to H&S cost. I like it very much, the customer support is great! I do have procon boy .4 single pull action. The intention is using the .4 for primer only. I love the Mac valve.

    I have the Platinum PS 270 and liked it so much I just bought the PS 771 for finer detail work.And as always I get them from Spraygunner.

      Still a bit of an airbrush newb, just bought the PS270. And am hoping it will go as fine as I need. What exactly were you having problems with?

    Intrigued by what you say about the H&S Infinity at the start of the vid. I bought a cheapo Chinese pseudo-Iwata with my compressor but had a lot of problems getting it to do detailed work. Figured a new Infinity would be the solution, so popped down to my local model shop, which just happened to have only two brands in stock - H&S and Procon Boy. I left the store with a Procon PS 270, and half of my money unspent. From what you’re saying, it was clearly a good decision!

      H&S great for inks, not designed for thicker modeling paints, like acrylics. Just constant blocking and issues. Needles bend easily. Procon had for years. Zero issues. Just put paint in and spray. No drama.
      It is saying what car you like. Some people will say BMW, others Mercedes. It all comes down to personal preference at the end of the day.

      @@RWHobbies - That’s more or less what the store owner said. He wanted to sell his more expensive H&S, and claimed it was all up to me - take your pick: Mercedes or Lexus. But after a few barbed questions he let slip that the H&S could be very fussy, while the Procon was just a reliable engine that would do everything I was likely to require.
      I use a lot of Vallejo acrylics for 1/72 scale military models and it sounds like the H&S would not have liked them.

    the difference is the platinum mac valve one has a 3 piece nozzle air cap like the microns. It's wayyy better than the hp high line eclipse sparmax use 2 piece on all and grex. the only others with 3 are olympos micron, richpen microns, iwata custom microns and creos 771 is a custom micron aswell. the 270 285 are micron fronts and hp-c trigger body on it the reg procon are hp-c or max 35 so 35 max 3 setup. I don't know why you'd get better performance than platinum maybe deep clean with acetone in cleaner or check by microscope bent nozzle and make sure ptfe seals tight. there's videos and blog style walkthroughs on the maintenance and those .2 Japanese / Taiwanese guns need to be maintained really any good branded detail gun needs love to run good. But they'll pay you back tenfold in flawless operation and extreme details. I've painted a skull in flame in a razor blade with a ps270 there that good sparmax dh102 sp20x and badger sotar&krome can also do that kind of detail. No need to buy a 300 plus airbrush ever in my opinion sold my 3 iwata guns about a 2 year into airbrushing used em for year and change. Bought some badgers and accessories and was way better off no 30 to 60+ dollar parts alone made up difference on sale.

    Was your purchasing decision influenced by the Flory Effect?

    • @RWHobbies
      @RWHobbies 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Nope, not at all. I had mine about 2 years before Flory. When I got mine there were really no TH-cam videos outside of Japan.
