Yes. I'm sure he would also have met other more famous composers. But also, whoever was taking care of him in Vienna after he lost his financial support should have been more attentive! Such a brilliant mind should've been taken care of with the utmost priority, care and attention, leaving not a single need unattended. Vivaldi deserved so much better, both during his life and after his exit of the world. Today, he at the very least lives in our hearts.

If I were to have first heard this and asked to guess the composer, I almost certainly wouldn't have guessed Vivaldi. Many parts of this concerto has a style that I'd associate more with the classical period than the baroque period (especially the opening). But then again, I can hear his distinctive style later on in the piece.
