I'm going to be getting a Yazoo ft 710 probably 710 field. I'm most likely going to get a brand new one but if not I will settle for a lightly used model as long as I get it from a certified dealer. I'm currently using a Yaesu ftdx 1200 and that is not a very good radio for portable operations lol 😂. So the 7:10 is going to be a very good addition add to my station unfortunately though I have to sell the 1200 to get the 7:10.

Yes, FT-710 is great for portable operation. You will be happy with it
