Thank you for this video. I just got this belt for Christmas and the instructions are not that good, nothing beats a video showing how something works. This is a great belt, when I am at work I keep my belt lose so I am comfortable but when I stand up my belt is too loose this makes it incredibly fast and easy to loosen and tightent

I also love Chaoren ratchet belts and now have about 10 of them in a mix of fabric and leather to match different shoe colours and levels of formality. It was a small investment but I found some good value double packs and ebay liquidation stock ones so an average cost of around 15 USD each inc taxes and shipping. All my old standard belts have been disposed of or sold on ebay. Some were branded and went for good money despite being in obvious used condition but I don't care about the logo anymore I just want quality and these are so smart and comfortable and my collection should last a very long time. I probably find myself making micro adjustments around 10 times a day it's so easy and would not have been possible with my old belts I just had to accept that my trousers were a bit too loose or tight at times. After a few months of mostly wearing them there are still absolutely no signs of wear. I wish I had found out about ratchet belts a long time ago - they should teach you this at school. Whenever I am in clothes shops it kinda amazes me they still bother selling the standard type of belt which now seems obsolete.
I know I can not go back to my old belts at all this belt is Amazing!
Small adjustments throughout the day makes a lot of sense as most guys gain 4-6lbs of water weight by the end of the day.

Thanks for the review, just got this off Amazon prime day deal in the UK and knew it was a rachet type, but the instruction on how to attach the buckle was missing, as they showed the dotted lines on the amazon page to adjust the belt to size, but not how to attach. Makes a lot of sense, not tried this design before, but found fabric and pin you catch your finger trying to undo the pin or get pinched by traditional buckle let alone, leather or faux stretch. This looks to get around that use the rachet function and feel nice and secure and easy to adjust without pinch or marking the outside of the belt like you discussed.

Yeah, but has anyone's ratchet belt lasted longer than a year? I love ratchet belts but I'm 2 for 2 not lasting. First belt i bought at sears lasted about a yr. Second belt came from slide belts lasted about a yr. Both belts came apart where the buckle is held together with 2 pins. So now, I have to find another company but the belt buckle in this video looks exactly like the slide belts. So I'm hoping for somebody that can honestly lead me in the right direction.
Mine lasted only 6 months. Amazon won’t take it back and I cannot find a company website.

I hear bad reviews from friends about the quality of the buckle. They sadly do not have them anymore so I cannot verify myself. How is the belt now, is it holding up?
