Absolutely love learning about the next gen raptor as you guys are. The fact that you guys are working out all the kinks as you go with other local businesses which means a lot to many that you also support local aussie businesses just strengthens ff's foundations within the country. So sick guys! Can't wait until the packages are up for install! Waiting for the right time to jump on the upgrade wagon with all of the smarts being applied to the vehicle! Really appreciate the effort the Fab is putting in as this time last year when I got the Raptor it was the literal desert for modifications! ❤
100% it will be way fkn louder with dumps and hi flow cats. Mine became obnoxiously loud.
Fyi your washer bottle you supply with the snorkel kit on the raptor fouls on aftermarket cooler piping. Had to get mine altered to suit.

Love the content on the Ranger Raptor. I'm really hoping you guys continue the exhaust saga. I'd like to hear the tone get better, not just louder. Equal length from the turbo's back. maybe a "Trombone" pipe is the answer somewhere. Can't wait for future videos. Love from USA.

Great vid guys. Next time you do a Q&A session could you explain the differences between the 4 inch and five inch snorkles. Trying to understand the advantages of going for the significantly more expensive 5 inch version.

I have made mods to my raptor and it has responded very well so far. I did the tune and meth first and went from 354 whp to 417 whp, next stage was adding the intercooler and the fabulous intake. Im taking it to the dyno next weekend I hope, to see how much it gained above 417 whp. One thing I have noticed with the intake is the heat soak, today is quite cool 15c, for example, and after a short drive and starting thebtruck again the IAT was 50c, and it does not go down fast as you start driving again. I guess its due to being aluminum and closer to the turbo (as it is a larger box). Im going to try to insulate it today to see if that improves this condition before going to the dyno.
When you install the phoenix intercooler you will see what I sent on my feedback to Dom about the IAT sensor location.
I love it.
Front pipes make a difference from gas temperatures and expansion, larger section for hottest part of the exhaust nets the most gains. My Evo 3.5" front pipes make a significant difference to the powerband
We've started dump & front pipe development now, we're keen to see the results!

How do you reckon the exhaust and tune might affect warranty?
With an aftermarket pcm calibration, unless it's herrod, you have no powertrain warranty, period.
@@rb25detMitch07 why would it only affect driveline warranty and not anything else?
@quintin79 why would tuning a vehicle impact a warranty claim for faulty head unit or suspension etc? For warranty to be void they need to prove the aftermarket modification caused the issue. Anything that goes wrong with your driveline can easily be explained by the manufacturer as being a result of the pcm reflash.

245.6kw? Where's that figure from? Flywheel or wheels?
That's from the wheels! Please note that every dyno and compensators are different, and it's best to look at the % increase over baseline results

The guy on the phone mentioned how the ECU is so difficult to crack. Is Jordan’s tune done via a plug in chip? Asking for the UK audience as we currently have no where offering tunes and as you all no already way down on power due to emission regulations 🙃
@jordanmeredith993 no, ford pcm reflash. BPT motorsport supply an unlocked pcm with a factory calibration that can then be tuned to suit any mods.

@jordanmeredith993 do you think however that the ecoboost installed in the European models is exactly the same with the 400hp one and the only difference is the tune and petrol particulate filter? Or could ford possibly supply a cheaper version of the motor for eu with different parts in it for the 300hp class.

The south african version makes 292kw from factory why are your raptor so low on power when standard
They’re the same as SA version. You’re comparing flywheel power (stock) to power at the wheels.
