  • Warm up your voice and develop a healthy, resonant tone with MUSYCA's Vocal Onset Warm-Ups. Range: C3-E4.
A vocal onset refers to the way in which the vocal tone is initiated. Mastering vocal onsets is key to attaining a free, resonant vocal sound. Practice the three essential ways to start your vocal tone: aspirated, glottal, and coordinated.
Aspirated: Air starts moving before the vocal cords come together, creating a breathy sound.
Glottal: Vocal cords are closed and open due to air pressure, resulting in a more aggressive sound.
Coordinated (Preferred): Air and vocal cords engage simultaneously, producing a healthy, resonant vocal tone.
Make sure to practice deep breathing before starting your daily vocal routine.
