And this was near the end of the war when Israel was 100km close to Cairo but before that, Egypt had plenty of Aid from the Soviets; you can read about it in wikipedia, it's free dont worry.
Also Israel didn't leave, the Soviets threatened WW3 so Israel had to accept a ceasefire. This probably made Abbas so happy he accepted it immediately, and if we had a casualty crisis, then why Egypt didn't take advantage of it? First 6 day war they wanted to conquer Israel, so why didn't they do it when Israel was "weakened"?

By the end of the Yom Kippur Israel was basically ready to speedrun Eygpt, because their army was basically destroyed. And the US stopped supplying Israel after the Arabs threatened to cut off their oil supply. Most Israeli equipment that was used wasn't even American.
