Thank you. I love watching this. It reminds me of watching my dad, when i was a child. He made leather belts. So the edge cutter looked familiar.

Interesting! I didn't know how much work goes into just the straps. But we do spend a lot of time preparing the lining of the bag that u don't hv to in the leather one. Thank u for showing us that. Adam, your bags are stunning 😍

This is awesome! I’ve never worked with leather, but this makes me so tempted to try (though it would have to be no-sew because my machine would never cope with it!) My husband is even keen on giving it a go too - thanks for the inspiration! 😁

Great information, I didn’t know about the sanding. I can’t wait for the crossbody pattern!!!!!!! Are you able to tell us how much leather we will need, I would love to order some leather before pattern comes out? Thank you both again!

Great demo on leather working. I had no clue there were so many steps involved in creating a perfect strap.

Great tutorial! I can’t find the die kit that you used to round the ends of the straps. Very possible that I’ve overlooked it on the website you linked. They certainly have some other tempting tools! Thanks.

Apparently they’ve just sold out 🙈 so that’s probably why it’s not showing. This link might take you to the sold out page and you can message him from there to ask when they’re re-stocking

This is my 1st attempt to make a webbing strap with leather features. I have a lot of large scraps of leather from an upholstery shop for this. Mine does appear soft compared to yours. Can I use the same procedure?

Probably not. Upholstery leather is softer and is usually chrome tan which means it can’t be burnished
