SAFETY
In this video I use various tools and equipment. Please ensure you only attempt this at home if you are experienced at using the tools and have read and followed the necessary safety instructions provided by the manufacturer of each tool. This video is a very quick overview and I do not cover the full safety precautions in this video. Carry it out at your own risk. Fab video as always jo and Adam. 👏👏👏
Thank you 😃
Thank you. I love watching this. It reminds me of watching my dad, when i was a child. He made leather belts. So the edge cutter looked familiar.
Interesting! I didn't know how much work goes into just the straps. But we do spend a lot of time preparing the lining of the bag that u don't hv to in the leather one. Thank u for showing us that. Adam, your bags are stunning 😍
Thanks 😃
Great video! You two are the cutest!
You are a lovely couple. Nice to see you together.
That’s very kind of you 😊
What a difference with little effort!
Oh my goodness. Absolutely beautiful new pattern for the cross body. Excellent service bag. Cross bodies are my preferred day today bag. Just beautiful Adam. Great job!!
Thanks 👍🏼 it’s the perfect size
Beautiful bags made with love
Stunning work.
Many thanks!
This is awesome! I’ve never worked with leather, but this makes me so tempted to try (though it would have to be no-sew because my machine would never cope with it!) My husband is even keen on giving it a go too - thanks for the inspiration! 😁
That’s great to hear 😃
Great information, I didn’t know about the sanding. I can’t wait for the crossbody pattern!!!!!!! Are you able to tell us how much leather we will need, I would love to order some leather before pattern comes out? Thank you both again!
Thanks. You will need 30 x 16 inches of leather
Wow when will you guys be releasing the cross body video and pattern for purchase
4th November 🙌 not long now 😁
Great demo on leather working. I had no clue there were so many steps involved in creating a perfect strap.
Great tutorial! I can’t find the die kit that you used to round the ends of the straps. Very possible that I’ve overlooked it on the website you linked. They certainly have some other tempting tools! Thanks.
Apparently they’ve just sold out 🙈 so that’s probably why it’s not showing. This link might take you to the sold out page and you can message him from there to ask when they’re re-stocking

Thank you for the video about posh leather strap making. Where do you purchase your straps?
I get nearly all my leather from A & A Crack and Sons in the UK.
This is my 1st attempt to make a webbing strap with leather features. I have a lot of large scraps of leather from an upholstery shop for this. Mine does appear soft compared to yours. Can I use the same procedure?
Probably not. Upholstery leather is softer and is usually chrome tan which means it can’t be burnished
What weight is the strap please?
8 ounces
What is the name of the colour of the strap.
It’s linked in the description. The colour is called malt
