Awesome video! Helped me out a ton. I was able to change both rear bags and refill the system with nitrogen on my 2013 ram 1500. If anyone is looking for a scanner that works for this I used the 2024 launch creeder elite (Ediag tools or Kingloben) from Amazon. Regular version is up for $112 with a coupon and the 2.0 version is $159 with a coupon. Free lifetime updates. I’ve used it for a bunch of other stuff too. Also, to refill the system instead of getting the dorman kit I used a nitrogen tank and a basic Amazon regulator hooked to a low pressure A/C fitting.
I have a 2018 Ram 1500 Limited with air ride. Looking at doing an air delete. Do you know if the upper control arms are the same mounting positions as the regular suspension? Looking to just replace shocks and upper control arms.
I am trying to diagnose my air suspension problem. The rear is fine but the front will sag on both sides after vehicle sits for a few days. Once I drive it the system will work just fine. Any suggestions on where to start looking? I already had it at the dealer, they keep wanting to soak me for diagnostic checks. They stated on my paper work, the system is working fine but they are also saying, there is probably a leak. They told me to diagnose properly they would need to keep the vehicle for a few days and could cost as much as another $600 and that's on top of the $200 I already paid them. Getting frustrating.
@@nealstanley5270 I understand your frustrations, that price is a little excessive but it can become time consuming to find out exactly what’s wrong, I would start by first getting the truck back up and level again followed by a soapy water leak spray on the tops of the front air bag fittings
@@Tech-28 Just some other info, my truck was sitting all week, I went out and the front was sagging quite a bit. But as soon as I start the vehicle it immediately goes to normal. Is that normal to do that? Or maybe a good sign there is not any major issues??
Sorry but one more question, Is there any lines towards the back of the truck that control just the front air struts that I should also check for leaks? Thanks in advance.
Should've installed the air line before setting the bag in place, some good pointers nonetheless but mostly nonsense and a try hard guy, keeping the chassis clean from salt and stuff will save you tons of issues.

@@josey6156 yes I am 99 percent sure they are the same
After you completely fill all the bags do you have to relearn the ride height or calibrate the system?
Sometimes, but rarely. If a fault code is set, then you have to.

@@Tech-28 Thank you for the response. I will give that a try within the next few days.

@@nealstanley5270 it should stay at regular ride height regardless of how long it sits, I’m sure it has a small leak somewhere
What happens if undont refill the nitrogen. Will it still work or no
@@JoshuaNecaise it needs to be filled or it won’t work
