@PurpleTyranid The video is synced perfectly (1:09-1:13). The games engine allows some leeway on storing attacks. Also there are some combos that require pre-buffering. The engine is much different then Street Fighter.
@genesisrhapsody If you are using joystick try not to touch the gate since you have to get back to 5b so quickly. Try to just nudge the joystick slightly for the 66. It is easier on pad I'm assuming because of this. Keep me updated.
I've only just gotten to the point of complex combos with a pad. I want to get a fight stick, but I'm kinda terrified of how long it will take to relearn everything with it.
@VesperArcade Thanks a lot for the advice. It helped out a lot. Now I'm up to #6. Can't seem to get the dash into 6A down correctly after Carnage Scissors, but I think I may know what I've been doing wrong.
Hey Vesper, I was curious of how you timed the B input for Mission #3. After pulling off the grab into Gauntlet Hades I can never seem to land the B in order to go on with Inferno Divider and finish off the combo.
Ragna is my main, but I for the life of me can't do any of the challenges past challenge #4, yet I've somhow managed to do up to challenge #5 with Platinum. . . maybe she's just easier to use or something :V.
@DcTheLeet ummm.these are 2 different games. with that being said it there are completely different combo systems. Learning multiple characters in SF is wayyy easier than it is in BB. You'll be lucky to learn 2 or 3 in BB vesper is awesome dont get me wrong. He can do the characters combos and all but every character is so complex to the point where there will be a character you know frame data , matchups..etc..this game ultimately forces you to stick to 1 or 2 characters.
Call me a scrub if you want, but I honestly have no idea... How do you do the second hit of Carnage Scissors? I always just do the first and the move ends D:
@DcTheLeet doing combos in challenge mode and doing combos in an actual match are 2 completely different things..anybody can do can do combos with anyone in BB its easy (for ppl who play) but doing combos in an actual match are completely different things.. I think anyone who plays BB can vouche for that. you have to not only know how to land the combos but how and when to do them in certain situations. I'm not dissing vesper awesome guy..just letting the 2 ppl know that it takes "PRACTICE"
@Killerboy696969 Probably to late to stop you, but I'll say something about the PSP, playing Blazblue on it is HARD! I have Blazblue on the PS3 and my friend has it on his PSP and whenever I play on his PSP, I have tons of difficulty doing the inputs properly @.@; 623 (for inferno divider or whatever) is a pain and is barely ever read properly so I drop more comboes than trees do leaves in the fall... D: I recommend switching systems or something. :/
@ip00p01 BB is difficult at first, but it's really a matter of understanding the game mechanics and applying yourself. Go to dustloop forums if you get stuck somewhere; that website helps a lot, imo. >_>
@RisingSun2007 Oh my. @.@; No, Ragna's timings in the game can be easily be claimed to have the easiest timing in the game. You? You must expect it to be more difficult so you end up screwing something up. Try another character.
@DcTheLeet oh and you dont read either practice practice practice and once again practice..did you not see the word in my comment or do ppl on youtube like to jump and correct someone the quickest chance you get. i know how hard it is to transfer your reaction time, input commands etc..basically making it feel like your controller..i know it all to well. p.s.reading is an awesome skill learn it :D
@SonicBoomBrad and if you "read" my comment it says with "practice" we learn comprehension skills in kindergarten..i have a fight stick. thers no need for me to flaunt that over the internet.
#10 The dashing after the second 5D is what gets me the most on pad. I still can't complete it.
@PurpleTyranid The video is synced perfectly (1:09-1:13). The games engine allows some leeway on storing attacks. Also there are some combos that require pre-buffering. The engine is much different then Street Fighter.
awesome ragna is one of the many that has completable challenges.
So precise. No wasted motion.
@OurWillLivesOn Pay attention to the height of Bang. Also make sure to slightly delay the second hit of Gauntlet Hades.
@genesisrhapsody If you are using joystick try not to touch the gate since you have to get back to 5b so quickly. Try to just nudge the joystick slightly for the 66. It is easier on pad I'm assuming because of this. Keep me updated.
@Bito999111 Yes. I will be doing all DLC Characters as well.
@Keen8000 I list my equipment on my main TH-cam page.
I've only just gotten to the point of complex combos with a pad. I want to get a fight stick, but I'm kinda terrified of how long it will take to relearn everything with it.
I will be releasing one character each day.
@VesperArcade Thanks a lot for the advice. It helped out a lot. Now I'm up to #6. Can't seem to get the dash into 6A down correctly after Carnage Scissors, but I think I may know what I've been doing wrong.
I miss the days when Carnage Scissor resulted in a wall bounce...
crazy stuff. and to think ssfiv was challenging enough, blazblue has the move list scrolling down so you can't see everything
Man, I really want to play my copy of this game but I have to wait my stick replacement to arrive. The joystick in my SE Fight Stick finally died.
Yay for Rawrgna The Droolspittle!!!
the attack at 1:11 looks so awesome
@EvelioEinWindir oh yeah, its CS2, i havent played enough to notice ALL the changes but yeah BB has always been difficult for me.
@VesperArcade OK. Thanks I'm have issues with Makoto and many more
It still does. v.v
@ip00p01
In CS1 or CS2? Because, iirc, CS2's a bit more difficult for some characters, imo.
Ragna for the mother fuckin win!
@SitverGold gotta clear 100 of the total amount of trials to get the trophie.
It took a long time to get mission 3. What a timing. :(
Is this on xbox live cuz I want this game n u got MADD skills man 5 got damn stars lol
Hey Vesper what do you think does a better job of teaching the player combos? The Trial mode in SSF4 or the challenge mode in this game?
Hey Vesper, I was curious of how you timed the B input for Mission #3. After pulling off the grab into Gauntlet Hades I can never seem to land the B in order to go on with Inferno Divider and finish off the combo.

what is the difference between the Type B button setting and the Type A

Will you also be doing Makoto or no
It's so hard to input commands in the psp version
@macibax Are you sure you don't have continuum shift 2????? That's probally it.
ohhh this game looks harder than Street Fighter :O
Really? Huh... Must have missed it...
Call me a scrub if you want, but I honestly have no idea...

do you get a archievment like in ssfiv when you cleares all trials ?
i just bought continuum shift, and Ragna's missions are different, do i have a different version or what?
you play blazblue since when
i'm stuck on the 2nd combo of mission 5.. am i a noob?
and again we, the gamers in europe, are fucked by the delayed release...
Wow.
@ip00p01
BB is difficult at first, but it's really a matter of understanding the game mechanics and applying yourself. Go to dustloop forums if you get stuck somewhere; that website helps a lot, imo. >_>
@DirgeHQ play*
So... easy! :/
Anyone else think he hardest thing to do with Ragna, that also makes him interesting, is Blood Kain?
god hands? noo its called practice and with a stick all this is VERY easy trust me
@RisingSun2007 Oh my. @.@;

pshh whatever. I do these combo's with the joystick behind my back.
