You can relate TATA to "Jack of all trades is master of none".
Purchase their Salt, Food products but don't go for buying expensive things like cars with your hard earned money. The service center guys also are not skillful or helpful like other companies like Maruti or Hyundai, VW, MG etc.. What will you do with build quality (Yes build quality is important for safety) when there is no peace of mind for a owner due to these issues
