Thanks Phil, I use wide gape hooks in a size 4 mate, I’ve used the Korda, fox, Nash claw and the thinking anglers versions and caught on them all. Solid bags are brilliant pal you’ll be glad you got on them 👍

Hi pal as you know we fish gawsworth quite a bit but the new pegs he’s laid out are way to close together so I’m looking for a new water this yr we did Winterley nice place but do you have any good suggestions many thanks Dave PS still not from your mum
Depends what sort of fishing you want to do mate. Mere Moor’s got some good fish in it, Hudson’s farm is decent but crowded in summer, good water in winter though I’ve had a number of decent fish from there January/February time.

Cromwell is a mint lake pal, 18 acres with a lot of 20s, 30s and 40s. Bit of a rat race to get first on the gate but it’s first come first served so if get on there early you’ll get a decent choice of swim

One of the conditions for me filming on there is that I don’t mention the name of it due to sharing some private land with the people who live right next to it.
