For this reaction video I took two groups I previously reacted to for different reasons. I can see myself getting into these two groups so I thought I’d give em another shot. As for Blackpink, I’ve been getting a lot of recommendations for them and I felt bad that I couldn’t film a reaction as I’ve seen their music videos before but I’m glad I was able to find one that I haven’t seen before! Unfortunately my reaction to it was not the best, I wish I liked it better than I did. If you could comment other videos by them that aren’t music videos, I’m down to keep trying!! They are super talented and I wish I could get into them :/

I’m aware of how big Blackpink is and I said earlier in the video that I’ve seen all their music videos except for the solo stuff. Just putting that here since I keep seeing people comment it
Just ignore those toxic people, (that fandom reputation talk about how they act), Do what ever you like, it's good that you are checking more gg and music , music is about enjoyment and diversity, and not popularity and mainstream. I see you being honest and not disrespectfull so don't mind the immature fan who don't understand that. A quick observation about Twice is that if you get to know the girls personalities and dynamics , you will have a different approche to their music, they made people who don't like cute and bubbly fall for their music and enjoy something so different than their usuall style. But again it's totally ok if you are not used or a fan of a certain songs that totally normal. (don't forget that some people (pitiful ones) stans groups for their popularity and not for the connection with their music or enjoyment that is why you can't even make a conversation with those type of fans, so better ignore them even though they are annoying)

You'll be surprised at how many antis-turned-ONCEs are in the fandom.😅 The thing is, TWICE is one of the most versatile groups in the industry so I highly recommend their B-sides, if you listen to their "Eyes Wide Open" album I think you'll get it. (it's not a request btw, e.g. in your free time or something?)

I wasn't an anit before but I knew about Twice but I knew that they were a cute concept group and it didn't catch my interest. Saw the I can't stop me dance performance and the mv and not long found Fancy and it hit me. I later see their older mv's(their more cuter vids) and I liked it. I found them catchy and kept coming from more. I'm a once now and the reason why I stanned them more is for their personalities. They're so much fun and funny too.

I love Twice, im glad you gave them a chance but dont worry take your time, maybe you'll like them and if not its okay. I havent heard a bad song from Everglow i think you wont be disappointed with any of their other MVs. Have you checked out (G)I-DLE yet? You might like them if you like Everglow, they are not the same sound but they also have a powerful female vibe and might be worth checking out.
I’m definitely going to ease into twice, I know they have a lot of content so I don’t wanna overwhelm myself. And I have listened to (G)-IDLE Oh My God MV and LOVED IT but haven’t seen their other stuff so I should look into it!
Everglow are probably the most talented girl group of this generation of Kpop. Besides having an amazing discography, they are good dancers and have strong vocals and rap.
Who would've thought a 28-year-old rock lover me is bopping to Twice's cute songs lol it's crazy how once you get to know their personalities and as people in general, your approach to their music changes. Also, deep-diving into Twice's discography, I can say that they have one of the most diverse discographies in all of kpop. The gems in their Bsides are *chef's kiss*. proof of never judge a book by its cover. Glad you gave them a chance! At the end of the day, you gotta be in it for the music ;) If you want to check out other Twice songs, I would suggest going in reverse order. There you can really appreciate the growth, but of course, it's your channel so you do what you want so you can enjoy the journey :D

TWICE title track and b-sides pretty different. you might like 'make me go', 'young&wild'. TWICE songs mostly uplift and energetic, like 'girl like us' and 'queen'. (oh! and 'feel special')
for TWICE korean, 'more&more' and 'i can't stop me' (in album 'more&more' + 'eyes wide open') pretty solid to me, so hope you like it.

You should try Dreamcatcher! They’re more rock/metal inspired and have more of a dark concept. Check out Scream, Boca, and Odd Eye. They also have a recent comeback with BEcause. It’s a bit lighter, because it’s supposed to be their “cute summer” concept. Well, if cute/summer means completing your doll collection with actual humans in an abandoned amusement park, lol

I don't like Icecream either - the song doesn't really go anywhere, it's the same beat all the way through with no chorus to speak of. I wouldn't force yourself to listen or react to a group if you are not feeling it & I don't think it is very nice that people keep hounding you to do so despite the fact you have mentioned a few times that you have already listened to their songs.

I actually admire your honesty, I watch a lot of reaction channels & most people seem too afraid to say if they don't like a song in case they upset the fans (& you can't tell me that they like every song that they watch cos even I don't like some songs by my favourite groups).

Ever glow is one of those groups that does not miss. La Di Da is my all time favorite comeback of theirs.
Friendly reminder, Please do react on your own taste of music rather "forcing" yourself to "listen" from the comment sections coz I also just recently found out that if you "force" yourself to listen or love a specific group it becomes more hard to accept them to but it's easier to just ignore them and let your curiousity make you listen/watch that group again.

I discovered Everglow through First and really liked the song. Unfortunately I was really disappointed with the rest of their discography so I am hoping their future releases are closer to my taste.
More Dreamcatcher would be cool if you are interested. I'd recommend Scream, Odd Eye and Piri (Boca was the one you already know if I remember correctly).

OK, what I am about to say might make some Blinks mad but please understand that I say this out of love an concern for the members of BlackPink. I can see why BlackPink isn't your fave, and to be honest(Oh god, Blinks please don't come for me😬) I think their songs, especially the early stuff was very cookie cutter and weren't very unique and that's through no fault of the girls, they are all incredibly talented in their own right. I feel like YG Entertainment is being too formulaic and not giving them enough freedom to create what the girls actually want to make. YG was/is more concerned with making BlackPink "The next BTS" (A.K.A. worldwide phenomenon) that they wont risk giving the girls anything interesting or new to play with. My problem is with YG not with the girls. Though I do seem to like them much more than Katharina does, I understand why they might not be her vibe.
