Stop! I love this cat. I watched him for the first time in the bowl game and said “he’s gotta be a chief”. But that was before I saw how stacked this class was at wr too
Totally Agree... He's what we've been missing
he already used to gettin dimes from #15 too! lol
That's a bad man
Id rather have AD or Xavier Worthy, they're so much more explosive with a higher ceiling.
The difference is Xavier is not catching alot if balls with 2 high safety. Would you rather have a guy who catches 50 balls or 100 balls. The NFL is about 2 high safeties which means no big plays. With ladd he will be a first down machine. The offense will be more efficient.
We need an X not another slot guy. Ladd is cool though, has a decent floor. Would rather bet on another receiver with an higher ceiling
Ladd can be our X, or Rice could. Ladd has fantastic hands.
Ladd is the perfect Z he makes the chiefs wrs fixed once rice is back to be the X
@@dereksmidl8352 Marquise is our Z and Rice had around 50% snap count in the slot. Ladd is the #1 slot receiver in the draft and hovers around 6-7th when it comes to X. Will all come down to scheme, guess we’ll see in a few days
@@jaronmitchell671 yeah our Z for one season. We need an actual guy on the roster that isn’t costing but 2 mil a year that’s Ladd
Would like Ladd over Ad Mitchell that’s for sure. Only worried about his ceiling and back injuries. Only guy I’d take over Ladd is Worthy.
Yesss finally the perfect selection if he makes it to 32. He’s my wr5 and Mahomes deserves a real wr no more projects. That said injury history could push him down to us. Personally if ends up in Buffalo I’ll cry real talk lol
I’d be higher on this pick if we had anybody on the roster capable of beating press man consistently.
Ladd McConkeys college film looks a lot like Tyler Lockett's film from K-State
Exactly we missed out on him but we had Alex at the time so it probably wouldn’t have mattered much. With Mahomes hes the man.
If Ladd had lagette accent he would have a much higher consensus ranking among fans. They literally only know legatee talks funny and had a rough history so they want him. Miss me on a 23 year old 1 year wonder.
I think the Chiefs will take him at 32. But I don’t want him at all. He’s sub 6-foot, he’s injury prone, non factor in the redzone, CAN NOT catch in traffic. I’d like him more if he wasn’t so injury prone and more productive in college. Also I’m scared off how his tape is reminiscent of Skyy Moore’s 😮
No way on Ladd! Either move up and get Brian Thomas Jr or stay and get Jaylin Polk!
McConkey has great hands. He's like a Julian Edelman type of WR.
Cooper Kupp jr
All these armchair GMs in the comments section of this video lol...The majority of the Chief's receivers are short and light/speedy guys. The problem is, defenses eventually figure out how to handle the schemes to get guys open and you have what we had this past season, when the defense had to carry the offense to win games. At some point, you have to have big and physical guys that can go up and get the ball when plays break down. That's what KC lacked this past season. Big, strong guys that can bully their way down the field and get the ball. All that speed doesn't mean much when you can't get open and that 165 pounds isn't going to throw itself around. I hope the Chiefs are looking more into the bigger guys with size and strength on them to help with that. I'm sure they'll go a different way that what I think they should do lol, but I think y'all are over doing the "small and speedy" guy thing in the WR room. Tyreek was a once in a generation guy like that.
Chiefs don’t use the 50/50 jump ball guys so I always find it odd when fans say that’s exactly what we need. The best wr in chiefs history is 5’9
@@jackiemoon5906 that’s the point, they don’t have them, so there’s no one to use. Thats why they need one. They don’t have anyone to go up for the ball on broken plays when the schemes break down. Having a physical guy with size and athleticism can only be useful. It’s not like they’re going to get players that can’t do anything but catch jump balls. They can run routes and scheme to get open too.
Nah we need Legette, if we need a McConkey we could just get Renfrew. Same player
Respectfully disagree.
This player is money, hoping the Chiefs draft him so he can get a ring before his brother :) (PS, Love the family and was joking...don't get super triggered)
I'd be afraid he's too small/fragile.
Nah, he's near 200. He's not Worth or Franklin (160 and 170)
Ugh, again with this effing kid.
We already have a Skyy Moore no thank you
Skyy can't run routes.
@ScottAlanBecker38 he could in college and his colledge production blows Ladds production out of the water. Xavier Legette, AD Mitchell, and Xavier Worthy (Hollwood 1 yr contract) all bring something new to the WR group that's lacking. Ladd would bring Moore of the same
@@midwestninja2237size is concerning but Skyy played at western Michigan. If he played at Georgia he would’ve been the 5th wr and went undrafted. Also I didn’t really see anyone who thought Skyy should be a 2nd rounder or a good professional wr.
@jackiemoon5906 I was an Alec Peirce fan the year we took Skyy Moore but obviously our so called greatest GM thought differently and made the call in round 2. Ladd did play at Georgia but unlike Skyy he was never the #1 option over the course of a season.
I think there's a 0% chance that Ladd goes in the first round but if he does I pray he goes to Buffalo. When you're lucky enough to pick at 32 with WRs potentially on the board with comps to Tyreek,Ceedee Lamb, and DK you don't pick Kevin Lockett. We will see very soon
@@midwestninja2237 McConkey is most likely going between pick 26-36. There are plenty of non elite college players that become elite in the nfl. You don’t draft based on college production. You go best case scenario comps with the other second tier WRs but the absolute low end on Ladd?
or you could sign Hunter Renfrow and get the same player lol
Exactly
Talk about someone clueless, just because he’s white and small doesn’t mean he’s hunter renfrow that is a lazy comparison, mcconkey is even a better route runner, hmis a better athlete has more versatility being able to play the slut and even on the outside, so yeah you’re wrong
Not even close to the same player. Mcconkey is a much better athlete
@@user-fc4bj5ks1r lol come on. much better? in what way?
and mind you i really like McConkey, not only his tape but his interviews which I think Veach takes into thought - it isnt all on field for him.
Absolutely not … the next sky Moore
I miss the daily videos-- the ones NOT hosted by Hailey... Sorry, nothing against her as a person, she just annoys me. So I stopped watching any of those with her in them.
Wanted to watch but your choice of music made it impossible.
