Simple but so elegant and classical,love the look of hand made jewelry
An example of a production ring that probably meets a lower price point. However as an example of best practice there are a number of issues. 1) little attention to tight joints compensated by excessive solder that will lead to discolored and weak seams. 2) incorrect design of bezel which lacks step to support stone resulting in stone becoming loose, cracked or lost. 3) careless fitting of rope embellishment so that gaps appear between ropes and bezel --looks messy. 4) excessive heating of piece during soldering causing firescale that in a few weeks will appear as purple stains on the finish that will not polish out. As I say a production piece using an inexpensive glass stone probably intended for cheap import mall market or internet sale. If you are interested in learning how to make quality silver jewelry there are better places to look. From a jeweler of 40+ years experience.
