Cheers mate 👍, yeah i must admit it's not the easiest of places but a good laugh all the same at your own pace but with a group that is , i don't think I'd go on my own, as the risks are too high
It is mate yes, but if your new to Mtb i would go to bike park Wales first, there's something for everyone and even the blue runs are so much fun 👌, Dyfi is a bit full on to be honest
Yeah I thought it looked a bit much for me on my £400 bike haha. Sorry where about is bike park wales? I’ve literally just done the blue trail at coed y brenin last week that was a lot of fun
Hahah loving the clip edits, this is just like me and my mates riding. That's what it's all about, doesn't matter what rider skill levels are! Gotta have fun! We're not here for a long time
Good to see folk more my level riding Dyfi, looks like a good challenge, you've made me want to go a bit more, I was a bit put off by the size of stuff before but it looks fun!
Good video, makes me realise I’m never ever going to ride there! Lol. Have you ever seen Iain richards videos on TH-cam? He makes that place look like a green route! (The twat) 😂😂😂😂
Cheers mate 👍 , never say never there's some great flowy trails there what are great fun , yes i know Iain been on a few rides with him the mans mental 😅
If that place had grip it would be miles more enjoyable. You just always thought you were going over every time you saw a rock, whereas in the peak you wouldn’t think anything of just riding over it.
@@Ruffest like what ?, I’ve literally just changed from maxis minion and agressor to magic maries front and back. The Marie’s are fine on loose stuff and have more grip on that, but have terrible grip on roots and corners compared to the old setup.
Q for all the riders that smash this sort of stuff... Whats the best tip you can give people to improve towards this riding level? Is it body position Bike setup Confidence All of the above Etc I find pushing that little harder & the bike just loses grip
learn to pump, unweight and brake! you'll elevate your riding experience that way and truly start on easy trails to get these mastered. Lots of videos on youtube on all of these;). the true factor lies in confidence. and you want to build that confidence by learning the skills. you will also keep yourself out of trouble because you'll know your limits. (oh yeah bike setup is also a thing, but the best riders learned on the cheapest hardtails in my experience
Amazing and worrying in equal measure. Does look an amazing place to ride but is definitely a "need a bigger bike and more gumption" place i reckon 🤣. Great footage and you've been working on those transitions, mint 👍... either that or you messed up a load of landing 😂😂😂.
I'm not usually one for commenting on videos but this one of the funniest I've seen in a long long time.
Class 😂
Cheers mate , glad I'm keeping you entertained 🤣
Great to see how us normal riders tackle these trails.A bit of skill, a load of luck and loads of shitting ourselves with plenty of laughs. Brilliant!
Spot on there pal, just bucket loads of shitting ourselves 😂, even sat in the first uplift i was scared 🤣
Group of lads having fun on bikes. Great to see.
That's what its all about mate , nothing better 💪
just goes to show how hard this place must be for the normal Mtb folk thanks for sharing
Its definitely a step up for sure, but was fun all the same once warmed up 👍
Best mountain bike video I've seen in ages. Very relatable!
Cheers mate, much appreciated 👍
Thank you lads, I now have a realistic view of dyfy . Great video with real riders. Well done boyz 👏
Cheers mate 👍, yeah i must admit it's not the easiest of places but a good laugh all the same at your own pace but with a group that is , i don't think I'd go on my own, as the risks are too high
I'm going there this Sat. Not sure I should have watched this! Thanks for the laughs!!!
@@danlisowski 😂😂😂 you'll be reyt just hold on tight 😅

Good to see folk more my level riding Dyfi, looks like a good challenge, you've made me want to go a bit more, I was a bit put off by the size of stuff before but it looks fun!
Cheers pal, get yourself there, its deffo a challenge tho for your average Joe like me, but loved it all the same 👍
All of it you can roll, I wouldn't be put off yeah some jumps are huge but they are all tabletops
Worst thing is the off camber rock 😬
Brilliant video, glad to know it's not just me that talks to myself when I'm riding.😂
😂😂😂 cheers mate 👍
Amazing camera quality! Frame rate is ace! This is my biggest fear, book a day at a park and the buggers wet
Cheers mate, yes this isn't the best place to visit in the wet that's for sure
Great effort lads. Totally put me off. Glad you did it so I didn’t have to 😂
Cheers mate, i put myself off 🤣
Cool video! Race track is one of those tracks that is easier if you carry momentum which is sometimes easier said than done haha
Cheers mate much appreciated 👍, and yes I agree but my balls ain't that big 🤣🤣🤣
Brilliant. Yorkshire Yorkshire Yorkshire!!
Cheers mate 👍
@@Bloody_Nora it’s mad at dyfi isn’t it!! Where abouts in gods country are you from?

😂😂😂 he came down some gnarly track that's all i know 😅
Better luck next time mate great vid never the less 👍🏾
Cheers mate, much appreciated 👍
That looked insane! Great effort. Also, those transitions were 🔥
Cheers mate, yes not the easiest of places 👍
@@Bloody_Nora I can tell! Wanna try and get there before winter truly sets in 🤞
Brilliant video, not sure if it’s made me keen or put me off.
Cheers mate, but don't let me put you off this is only my second visit to a bike park so not used too it at all , go have fun some fun pal 👍
I get the feeling riding Dyfi is like driving in central London or Paris: Survive/thrive in that and you'll be able to drive/ride anywhere
Sure is mate , didn't even do the 2 triple black runs 😅
Need to get myself booked in, looked like sketchiness crash central, good video and as for the riding 😆 actually not bad 👍🏼
Once you know whats coming up it will be way more fun and if it was a little dryer 😅

Dyfi and Whistler before I die. I’m 60 so there’s a good chance. So different from the dusty, stony trails of Brisbane. Much more elevation, too.
Nice go for it mate, I too need to do whistler 👍
What phone mount are you using on your bike ?
It's a Wahoo computer 👍
If that place had grip it would be miles more enjoyable. You just always thought you were going over every time you saw a rock, whereas in the peak you wouldn’t think anything of just riding over it.
Get better tyres
@@Ruffest like what ?, I’ve literally just changed from maxis minion and agressor to magic maries front and back. The Marie’s are fine on loose stuff and have more grip on that, but have terrible grip on roots and corners compared to the old setup.
That’s the difference between limestone and gritstone!!
unless its dry, you can't brake on the stuff at Dyfi!
Q for all the riders that smash this sort of stuff...

Is it body position
Bike setup
Confidence
All of the above

Yes all of the above , but as for losing grip for me personally playing around with the tyre pressure helps

Yep scary and fun at the same time 😅, definitely 150mm min travel i would say, if I ever mess up or fall off they'll be in the video 😁
@@Bloody_Nora keeping it real 😎👍
My skill set is not ready for Dyfi yet. Great vid though, looks proper sketchy some of that.

What camera?
Hero 11 👍
haha looks great fun well done
Cheers mate was a good un 👍
It's great to see some "proper" mountain bikers having fun! Thanks for sharing!
Cheers mate, I agree its what it's all about just getting out and having a laugh regardless of your abilities 👍
The amount of mud riding in the UK is wild. It’s gotta eat your drivetrain up pretty fast
Yep 10s is still kinda popular out here especially on winter rigs
Timely video to pop up in my feed. Going tomorrow, how did the youtube know? Hope it's drier than that🤞
Have fun mate, I'm sure you'll do better than me 😆
😂Just realised, I can't ride a bike 😂
