It’s like everything the more time you spend with your crops the better you will be at it. It’s not a plant it and forget it until harvest. And there is no magical silver bullet. It’s a well rounded program paying attention to detail in all stages of crop development.
What really bugs me is spending all the time and money on our farm here in the river bottoms in kansas and you get these @$%&ing weather patterns that set in and rain rain rain and flood everything or atleast half of the crops out! I NEVER get to see or calculate if anything I did made a difference. Constantly just hoping next year will be different only now to get 6.5 inches after a 2.5 inch rain the week before. Now we have a repeat of two years ago and we have wheat half underwater. Last year it froze late. My dad always said we haven't had a good year since we bought the ground in the 90s and now that hes passed and Im farming it Im saying that same thing. 5 years since hes gone and none of them have let me see if anything Ive done helps. The weather always destroys it. 🤔 What was that about return on investment???🤔🤔
