Great information! When configuring the route/translation pattern in the ELIN settings (in my case a translation pattern 10.911), how is call manager determining which calling search space to use to dial? Is it the same as is used by the CTI route point?

Rick, yes...check the CSS within your CTI route point.
How do you configure CER with IP Communicator? Manually?
IP Communicator can be tracked with CDP over a wired connection or using IP Subnet tracking
